Appearance: Standing at 5'10" and weighing at 135lb, Khepri has a graceful, flexible body. She has pale glided skin with light auburn eyes and naturally deep brown color hair to her waist. Khepri when working she leaves it down to flow about her and decorates it with headpieces that she makes herself. During normal activities, she braids it into one long braid. Due to her profession, Khepri often dyes it from black to reddish brown with henna. Khepri like to heavily accentrate her eyes with kohl to make them seem like they are delving into your soul and trapping you.
Character Concept
Khepri is a complex person and hard to figure out her true emotions. Due to her slavery, mostly as a body slave, she's learn to hide her emotions or fake them when needed. Hiding constantly behind a mask, Khepri is slowly forgetting how to truly be happy or feel. To feel whole again, she dances or practices with her iron war fan from her grandmother.
Character History
All Khepri heard from as long as she could remember was that 'Beauty was a horrible thing to waste, you have been graced to be born as an Eypharian so use your beauty to your advantage at all times.'
Her mother and father had no real social standings in Ahnatep and hoped to use Khepri to rise the social ranks by grooming her into the perfect woman and marrying her off. Her father a merchant in perfume and her mother a stylist in the beauty district.
At the age of 7, they found her a teacher at the Hall of Peret for dancing and seduction and started her right away. Her grandmother however had different ideas for her. She saw that Khepri had a quick calculating mind so between her dance lessons she taught her the art of fan fighting or tessenjutsu. The lessons didn't last long before her parents found out and forbid her from practicing anymore. Khepri enjoyed the martial arts and didn't want to stop. Realizing this, her grandmother gave Khepri her two iron war fans in secret so she could continue to practice in secret.
However when she was 16 and of age to marry her father became financially bankrupt from repeatedly lost of shipments due to attacks and piracy. He owned a large debt to a member of the North Wind and to pay for his debt he sold Khepri into slavery. Originally a kept slave or Phet, she was used for sexual favors for visitors that would come over to the house of the North Wind. Her owner discovered her talents in Eypharian belly dancing when she was caught dancing in the slave quarters and taken before him. After seeing her dance, he realized her potential was greater than just for sex so he made her a Shajeb.
Khepri remained as such, now entertaining and giving company, for 5 years working off her fathers debt. Now 21, she's bought her freedom. She decided to cut all ties with her family and came to Syliras to live.

Housing
Location: Syliras
House: 20x20 apartment with the furniture listed in the Housing section. As it is the cheapest housing available, the apartment is situated deep within the interior of Stormhold Citadel and does not include any windows, only ventilation shaft to bring in fresh air. Each hallway is lined with torches which are kept lit at all hours of the day, allowing for light and giving residents free access to something to light their hearth from.
