^^ Very important announcement. Sounds fun! :D

On another note, I've expanded the Kalinor Research Facility, which now includes the Secondary Labs. Employment and volunteering is now an easy option in the Facility. It is also a very open location, so most anyone who wishes to poke their head in, may.

For those of you waiting on jobs, they should be coming soon. I am working out the last details with a few of you and then I will make sure that everyone who asked for a job gets one. For those of you who are not employed, remember that the minimum Seasonal Expense is Common (135 gm/season). If you are able to pay that without a job, you are fine. If not, I might throw something your way, its impossible to live at a poor standard in Kalinor.

Okay everyone, I've actually got something important today xD

So I've run into a fair amount of people wishing to go into the Abandoned Sector. I'd just like to clarify that this part of Kalinor is incredibly dangerous. Just because we live in a cave, doesn't mean that we don't have threatening wilds like the rest of the cities around Miz. I've given the go ahead for one thread to go very shallowly into the abandoned sector, however I should not be seeing anyone else in there. Seriously guys, your PC will die a horrible death very quickly out there, and on top of that, the city tries to keep people from venturing out there. The silk chords leading to the sector have been removed and any Ochya who see you out there will bring you back in with a slap on the wrist.

I will develop crazy-scary creatures and a general description of the sector for you guys, so that this may become a more serious and tangible thread. As I see that the lore barely mentions it. But I don't want to see any of my lovely Syms getting picked off by giant bats (how about that?), without my permission first.

Feel free to submit some scary-creatures to my office if you want to add to them. Aside from those that belong in the Sector, I think its time we start developing some Kalinor Flora and Fauna. There are many opportunities for some unique things down here. As always, I'm going to try and goad you guys into helping me develop this place by asking if you've got ideas? Maybe you just found a cool looking picture or an idea without a picture? Half of an idea? Whatever you've got, I'll take. Participation is not hard so don't hesitate to post in my office or the Development Thread if you've got an idea. :D

Hello all--

I've already added this to my signature, but as things are dragging on longer than I hoped, I'm posting in each of my character's cities to let everyone know that my activity will be sporadic. I will try to reply a couple of times a week, but that may not be entirely possible. There are a lot of things going on in real life that are killing my muse, and I just don't have the enthusiasm for much of anything at the moment.

So, until further notice, if I take a couple of days to reply, it's because I'm struggling with getting out more than a couple of sentences in each reply; I want to give as high of a quality reply as I can, but that may take longer than I would like it to.

Hey guys!

I'm back from my mini medical absence. I'm jumping in full throttle before I have school tomorrow, but I will be completely available from now on. :)

Aside from that, I have a recruitment request for all of you! If you've read the global announcement on the 13th, you may know we are running low on staff. This is an opportunity for those of you who want to get involved to do so. Even as an AS, you may work under a RS in your own city, and we have plenty to choose from! Please consider checking out the lore of storytelling and see if you are up to the task (trust me, it is plenty rewarding). If you are, don't hesitate to contact one of the RSs (Gossamer, Mirage or Traverse) and they will gladly help you out with it. You aren't limited to any particular region so don't worry. If you contact Mirage but want to be set up in Cyphrus, it's not an issue. :D

A Call For Development


Hello my lovelies. As we all know there is no Flora & Fauna development list for Kalinor. The lore and guides mention monsters and fungi, however none have been developed. I'm requesting that you guys develop Flora and Fauna for the city. We have a selection of creative minds here, and I'm sure you have seen some cool animals that you want to see around Kalinor, so if you are up to it, it would be awesome.

But Flora & Fauna is not our only area that needs development. If you find the city is lacking in a location or important NPC(s), feel free to help with develop. I want to get you guys involved in the city and help build this city with the players, you guys.

So pop into the Development Thread and see if you want to contribute anything to our lovely city! :D

Okie-Dokie. Let me bug you guys a little bit more to update you a little bit more.

First off, we've got a new location! The Ice House is a small above-ground location where the Symenstra get their ice. Usually, I wouldn't deem a location like this important enough to make so soon or announce, but it has its benefits. A few of you have still not come to be about jobs. We do not tolerate SEs below common here in Kalinor, and so that means you definitely need a job to stay alive. The Ice-house offers a one-yearly chance to make a little extra cash. You can quite literally make 15 gm for one thread. Its a lot less than if you were to just get a job, but hey, its still money. I urge those of you without jobs to either come to me for a job or take advantage of this location next season.

Other than that, I'm not an AS. This is really minor, because I will continue to do all the things I am currently doing. Other than taking care of you guys, I have volunteered to pop over to Windreach every once in a while. I've already been helping out with their grade request thread, however I will be helping out with modded threads over there as well. You guys are still my priority and will always get my complete attention first. I just want you to know so that if you see me over in WR, know that I am not ditching you guys for a bigger city. Spiders are better than birds anyway :P (Pssst... Don't tell WR I said that >.>).

Last but not least, I am putting together a massive Codex for Kalinor. I know that most of our city and race lore is scattered and spread out, however I want to pull it all together for you guys in one neat little/massive thread. It will make everything easier to navigate and also update some information that hasn't been touched in a while. Again, if you want to create things, anything, for this Codex I would love it. :D
