Timestamp: Day 39, fall, 513 AV
Location: Kalea wilds, outside Kalinor
Viridae pulled his scarf tighter about his body as he struggled to cross the mountain's flat peek. His goal right now was to find shelter, but this was no simple task with the full furry of the storm raging. He knew he could not be too far from Kalinor, but it was impossible to catch your bearings in the harsh conditions the storm enticed.
Originally, Viridae was planning on camping in a tree like he usually does, but this storm had flared up out of nowhere, and that method of camp was impossible. He attempted to create a windscreen on the ground, but constructing it in the near horizontal rain was frustrating. Frustrating. A perfect description of the day so far.
After a time, Viridae came to a narrow rocky cave, and climbed into it, attempting to start a fire with the small ammount of wood he had on hand. He knew he would have to venture out sooner or later to get more wood, but a fire was good for morale, and exactly what he needed right now.
Rain dripped into the cave's mouth in a steady stream, running down a slanted path into cracks at the cave's rear, likely leading to an aquafir. Viridae dug out his cooking pot, and an empty jar, and placed them into the stream to collect the water. He had no idea how long this storm would last, and would be pissed to die of dehydration in the rain.
