She watched him, wondering what would happen. Up until this point she had been a perfect little lamb lining up with his every wish, fighting him here and there, but not hard. She saw his eyes turn from amusement to a steely resolution, and he exited the water as well, asking if she was finished like a child telling a tantrum.
And perhaps she was. Once again she was trapped, trapped with him, to procreate with him in hopes of conceiving a child, that would live a terrible, terrible life as she had...most likely. But that depended on if he got her pregnant, and then carrying the child through a term, and birthing it, and returning it to him, all of which spoke of so many ifs and variables that she simply couldn't calculate them.
She smiled at bit at his last sentence though, and the expression had it's own coldness to it. " I apologize for I simply cannot lay and egg and give it to you, but I'm sure in three seasons we can work something out."
Tinnok took one step back. Her pack was already in the corner of a tree root, now she slipped off the loose top, and the undid the string around her waist. Both light garments tossed casually onto the ground, Tinnok worked to undo the bandages she wrapped around her chest, slowly letting them fall in loose coils around her bare and shimmering feet.
Once she was bare as her name day the Myrian slowly began undoing her braids, coiled tightly at the back of her neck. One by one loose curls dripped down her shoulders, down her back and across her chest, rivers of black locks falling around her like a veil. When she was finished her fingers were shaking somewhat from the tension. She had never been petched, and the first being that was ding the deed was a Dhani...that had backed her into this corner through cunning and manipulation.
And she had fallen for it all, hook, line, and sinker. But she refused to cry, refused to back out of the deal now for the same reason she had come today. She would be better than a full blooded Dhani, she would not back out, or sneak around. A deal was a deal. She simply wondered if he knew precisely what he was getting into. And then thought about those words for a moment before another smirk alighted upon her features.
Slowly her arms reached out towards Mamuro, beckoning him towards her.
