The exchanged carried on for just over a chime, Artek managing to slip some blows but still getting tagged a few times. Artek couldn't help but feel she was holding back Still the wolf woman seemed pleased as she stepped away signalling for him to stop.

He stepped away, relaxing his arms and gave them a shake, awaiting her feedback. This was something strange for Artek, he wasn't used to listening to peoples critiques of him. But she was powerful and clearly skillful and so therefore worthy of his respect.

He even found himself smiling at her slight praise and nodding eagerly when she asked his to try and hit her, the playfulness coming through in her voice. Her stance was low, utilizing the fact that she was much shorter than him, making herself as small a target as possible.

Artek took a deep breath, falling into a more aggressive stance. His feet slightly wider apart and hands not so high, trying to adjust for his opponents height. She had attacked aggressively and with a wilder style than he was used to, something he was keen to try out.

He circled as he approached, slowly making the distance, and when he was close enough he sprung forwards, launching of his back foot trying to trap her foot with his left as he landed. Not that she stayed still long enough and as soon as his foot hit the floor, she was gone.

He spun to his right, facing her again and delivered his classic left jab right cross. He snapped the jab out trying to get it out and back as fast as he could. His cross he put a bit more power on, but almost unbalanced himself as he had to punch down a fairly long way to reach her. Both his efforts were avoided, one ducked and one slipped. She was using her size to her advantage.

Again he closed the distance and tried the jab cross, and again she avoided. He thought back to her attacks. Unrelenting. He finished his combo after two. Cautious. She wanted him to attack. So attack!

He snapped another jab out, predicting that she would slip it, so didn't extent it as far. This meant he was able to push up quickly onto his front leg and force his back knee up towards her mid section. Her eyes widened slightly, but just lithely skipped to he left. That was fine his knee unfurled and he stepped down. Now his right foot was forwards. Not wanting to loose moment he flexed his lift knee as though he was going to lift it, but then aimed a jab at her forehead. He was rewarded by her having to slap it away rather than just avoid it.

Pleased he then pivoted to the left off his back foot and swung his right foot across, trying to sweep her legs from under her. But this time she was ready for the low attack and jumped his leg with impressive height gain.

He grinned. This was more like it, fight fire with fire.

Ama defended herself as best as she could, making use of her shorter height to prioritise dodging instead of blocking. Though more experienced, blocking Artek's strikes drained her stamina faster than she'd like. An Akalak's strength is truly worth their reputation, Ama figured he wasn't using his full power behind his attacks, it was only a spar after all.

"Very good!" She grinned as Artek intensified his offence, forcing her to brush with him instead of completely dodging his strikes. The leg sweep caused Ama to jump, a move that required actual effort. As she dropped down, Artek used the chance to strike her chest with a right jab. "!?" It was almost a clean hit as Ama put her hands up to block it, she could feel her muscles straining under the impact.

After a few more attacks, the Kelvic put up her hands. She was already a bit more than half-way through her lifespan, her physical condition wasn't as good anymore. "Alright, phew, that's enough." She controlled her breathing, sweat merging with the light raindrops. "I think we can call it a day, we need to get the man back too." She hunched down to all fours and transformed to her white wolf form as lights burst from her. The wolf then went to the man, requesting Artek to come and put the unconscious man to her back.

"We are done? Alright then. Milartek, Artek, thank you both for your help." Sil'ria nodded and stood up, patting her white dress. After Artek put the man on Ama's body, the wolf and the Konti would be journeying back to Syliras, it was up to Artek whether he wanted to come with them or not.

OOCAlright! This should be my last post for the thread! You can post your last reply then I'll grade it. ;)

Artek couldn't help grinning as he forced an actual block from her. #he moves were know where near as flowing are as well thought out has hers, however he had tried to imitate some of her wild style. She fought like something one with nature, flowing. Wild. It would take him ages to come close to how she fought, but what he was learning there was a good start.

He stepped forwards again trying to nail home the advantage, but she had already moved. Swift like the wind. he spun to face her and flicked a quick cross, but she slipped back seeming to flow away from the punch.

They were both, by this point flushed and sweat was starting to mingle with the drops of rain that fell. Even going half power Artek found himself fatiguing, both mentally and physically for he was not just trying to fight with his body. But with his mind as well.

After another Jab, cross knee combo, all of which were avoided the wolf girl called a stop to their bout . They both stood panting a little and regaining their breath. Artek was torn with wanting the fight to go on longer, but also tiredness tugged at his limbs. He did however feel like he had improved.

He nodded and watched as the wolf girl shifted back into her dire form. She was impressive and powerful in both forms, and that he respected.

"Thank you for the spar, it was nice to be pushed and tested by someone who knows what they are doing".

The simple words he said did not convey how thankful he did feel. After all he was never one for overly, if at all, thanking anybody. But this woman was different. She had power which he respected and because of that respect he had genuinely learnt a lot from their encounter. Pride was good if you could back it up, as were strong words. They meant nothing unless there was something to support them. Yes he was strong but he still had a way to go. THere were alot of conlficting thoughts runnign through his head, but he simplified them with one prevailing quote.

I need to actually be as powerful as my words. One day soon I Will be as powerful as my words. If something seems too good to be true it IS. DO not be fooled again into childish errors.

He would make sure of that. He would train long and hard to become the best he could be and earn the right to the bravado he naturally had. He also vowed to one day earn the respect of this wolf woman and prove to her that he was worthy.

He was brought out of his thoughts by the Konti thanking him, and his other soul, for their help. Not that he thought Milartek had done much. He simple nodded, tired from his spar and mind reeling from the lessons of the day. He heaved the man up onto the wolf girls back, noticing how improved his health looked. He would have to remember were this Konti lived, if he ever needed healing he was fairly sure she would know what to do.

He took one last look around the clearing before pulling himself of onto the great white wolfs back. A slight smile tugged at his lips as they set of through the forest, slightly slower than they had arrived, and he aimed his thought at his second soul.

I told you it was a good idea
