AppearanceRace: Kelvic – Wild Boar
Gender: Male
Age: 3
Birthday: 19th of Spring, 510 AV
Birthplace: Outside Syliras
Appearance: As a human, Lyemos is an impressive man. Though not particularly tall, he bears a wide frame, with particularly broad shoulders and rounded muscles. His taut skin is sun-bronzed and unusually tough, a thickness similar to animal hide. Lyemos' dirty blond hair is cut short and wild to match a trail of scruff that goes along his jaw and over his chin. His chestnut eyes are narrow and rest above a wide, flat nose. While all of his teeth are large, Lyemos' canines are more exaggerated than the rest, resembling tusks more than fangs.
As an animal, Lyemos takes the form of a wild boar. He's large for his species – roughly 74 inches long and over three feet tall at the shoulder. His coat is stiff and changes thickness with the seasons, and it's easiest to see the brindled pattern in spring and summer. A pair of tusks protrude from his lower jaw, sharpened along the inside curve, and his eyes shine with the uncanny intelligence of a shapeshifted Kelvic.
Character ConceptLyemos is a survivalist. Born outside captivity, he grew up rough and tumble, a little more than even his Kelvic parents could handle. Once pushed from the nest, Lyemos set out on his own – he was forced to temper himself to get by in the civilized world. On his travels, he came to be bonded to another rogue of a man, which quickly developed into a whirlwind romance. And when the bond was cut and he was abandoned, Lyemos managed to pick himself up and find a place to curl up and lick his wounds.
Character HistoryLyemos is the second child of a pair of Kelvics, wolves traveling and working as caravan guards and swords-for-hire. Always in motion, he spent his first year with his parents, growing rapidly as most Kelvics do. Though his parents were attentive and loving, Lyemos was always a difficult child. In the early months, he caused plenty of mischief for the merchants and pilgrims the family traveled with, and as he got bigger, he started getting into fights with would-be patrons.
After a particularly bloody scuffle, Lyemos was kicked out of the nest, as much as a caravan wagon could be one, a little over a year after his birth. His parents offered a few final words of wisdom and assurance, telling him that he needed to find his way on his own. Excited as he was angry, he spent his first few nights of adulthood getting roaring drunk in little taverns along the road before he was summarily chased out of town. He set out to travel on his own and, as his coin ran low, arrived at Sunberth.
He fit in, as much as he had ever fit in anywhere, and rapidly started to settle in against his instinctual wanderlust. Self-sufficient enough, he found a cheap bed, fed himself with fish and things he could root up outside the city proper, and became a fixture at a smaller gambling hall, though found himself with no luck at dice or cards. It was on one such night that he met Eldum Irtoro, a dangerous man who quickly parted the fool from his money, and Lyemos felt the sudden pull of a bondmate.
His life became a blur after that – it didn't take long for the bond to set in and strengthen, nor for it to escalate to torrid romance replete with stolen glances, secret rendezvous, and an overwhelming level of passion Lyemos had no experience with. But despite his uncertainty, Lyemos was happy, almost tamed by the presence of a bondmate. As weeks turned into seasons and seasons stretched to a year, he grew into his new life as Eldum's bondmate, lover, and occasional muscle.
Until one day, Eldum came home and told Lyemos to leave. There was no explanation besides the man's look of fear and worry, and when Lyemos refused, Eldum offered only a quiet apology as he reached out and severed the bond between them. Overcome with shock, Lyemos fled, coming to in a farmer's field some ways outside town, but he could hardly think – he shifted to his boar form and ran into the wilds, where he rampaged with grief and anger.
To seasons after the sundering of his bond, Lyemos arrived at the gates of Syliras, sullen and worn. Though brokenhearted and listless, he continued to live, having come far from Sunberth and its chaos to a city of order instead. Now, he does enough work to survive and otherwise keeps to himself, still on a long road towards recovery.

Heirloom: An artistically crafted fishing lure – a small minnow of blown glass in blue and red. The fish is finger length and slender, its tail curved up into faux hooks with its eye hollowed through to allow fishing line, as if the lure was sturdy enough to use for such. Instead, Lyemos wears the lure on a length of knotted line as a pendant.
