Something Missing

Tichi was utterly mortified. Thank goodness Daniel seemed to understand, and carried her to his place. Apparently she'd drunk too much wine. Once she stopped panicking she remembered that people who drank too much alcohol got drunk. Obviously it didn't take all that much for her to get drunk. Probably that caused the hiccups too. Certainly Daniel didn't seem to think it was anything dire.

It was warm from the fire, and she found herself relaxing under Daniel's touch as her fur dried and her shivers stopped. Time seemed oddly suspended. She lay curled up next to him, blinking sleepily as the room slowly stopped spinning around and the hiccups gradually faded away.

Daniel sighed contentedly. Sitting on a couch with a furry animal next to you was the way to go, it was very comfortable. The fire crackled occasionally, adding a nice ambiance to the room. Time passed, and the scene did not change, as if the worries of the world did not tread in this moment. After around an hour, it could have been days for all he knew, Tichi seemed to be sober enough to navigate without falling over, and soon after, she Shifted.

Golden flecks covered the couch as the squirrel ceased to exist, a woman taking its place. His arm was still wrapped around her, and though he had been in the company of Kelvics before, the nudity still made color rise to his cheeks. He made sure to only look at her eyes when he spoke softly, “Are you feeling better? The sweet kiss of alcohol has a potent effect on you.”

As Daniel gazed into Tichi’s eyes, something clicked. A flood of new emotions slammed into his mind, thoughts that were not his. It was not a new feeling, but one that was sorely missed. His eyes turned pink, glistening, more moist that they normally were in the light of the fire. He felt relief across their link, and he knew she was feeling the same as him, but even more so. With that thought, he embraced her, his bond mate.

Something Missing

Tichi opened her mouth to respond, but then something inside her that had never been right before, suddenly was. She gazed into Daniel's eyes, dumbfounded, as the ache in her chest was replaced by a sense of completeness she'd never experienced. Her world steadied, as if she'd been walking a crumbling ledge all her life and had finally found solid ground.

He pulled her close, and she whispered, "Was that ... is that ... it is, isn't it? Oh my."

For the first time Tichi could remember, she felt utterly safe, whole, and cared for. Tears fell slowly from her eyes, not of sadness, but of joy.

Daniel drank his bond's tears away, carresing her cheek with his lips. As they held each other, the fire slowly died to embers as the sat their, embracing in both body and mind, their consiousnesses wrapped tightly together. His eyes remained a violet-pink, a reminder to his bond that he cared for her, if their bond was not enough to prove that.

The only question that remained was, "What would you have of me? A guardian, a friend, a lover? All three?" He murmurred this into her ear, stroking her soft hair. He inwardly laughed, it was what he had been doing in her animal form, though he much prefered it this way. His hair seemed to dance with the light of the fire, the blues and greens it contained running up and down its length. He wished she could see what he had in his youth.

Something Missing

Tichi somehow managed to snuggle even further into his arms, burying her face in his neck. "I think you've already mastered the first two, I see no reason to stop," she answered, voice a bit muffled. She felt her face grow warm at the third option, then it suddenly hit her that she was completely naked.

Memories of past punishments for forgetting clothes made her stiffen momentarily, then she relaxed as she sensed through the bond that it really wasn't a problem.

And that line of thought led back to his question. Emotions and thoughts tumbled around in Tichi's head for a few moments, some her own and some coming through the bond. She breathed, inhaling Daniel's scent and letting the bond settle her. After a few moments she was able to think a bit more clearly.

"You'll have to teach me about number three, though." Smiling shyly, she lifted her head to look into his eyes Those ever-shifting, fascinating eyes. "There's a lot I don't know about, and well ... that's one of them." Her face heated even more, and she wondered if it was possible for one's cheeks to catch on fire spontaneously.

Daniel grinned at Tichi's first comment, he was already quite protective of her. Even before they had bonded. He sighed, not wishing to be any where else than in his bond's arms. He stole a kiss from her lips, his mouth trailing down to her neck, satisfied when she shivered in pleasure. She had said she was new to this game, so he took care not to rush anything. He took off his own shirt, so as to take down the only wall that had been seporating them. His chest was muscular with long scars, long since healed, crisscrossed his skin. A tatoo of a detailed snake could be seen on his back, along with runes that seemed to shimmer with the aurora's light.

It was there by the fire that he instructed her in this third option, their feelings increased tenfold due to their shared emotions. Daniel was experienced at this, as he had dated around randomly since he had came to Syliras. By the time they were finished exploring each other, entwined in a sweet embrace, they were covered in sweat and the juices of love, and many chimes had passed. Then they laid infront of the fire, Daniel's arms wrapped around her from the back, fitting a matched ring into one another.

Waves of love echoed across their link, saying what words could not, as a simple 'I love you' was quite an understatement.

oocyou can go into greater detail about her experience if you want. I kind of glossed over it, as I do not know this sight's opinion on it yet.

Something Missing

Postby Tichi on November 6th, 2013, 11:23 pm

Tichi blinked sleepily, not entirely sure she wasn't dreaming. Only the presence of the bond convinced her this was reality. No way would her unconscious ever come up with that, and all too often her dreams were nightmares anyway.

She had a suspicion that might change now. Certainly this evening had been a revelation in many, many ways, and her life had suddenly been set on a new, happier path.

Tichi twisted around to face Daniel and traced a finger along a scar on his chest. He had a lot more than she did, but that was understandable considering his profession. Hers were just marks of cruelty from a man no longer part of her life.

She thought back to earlier in the evening, and a smirk crossed her lips. "You really would have beat him senseless if he was still alive, wouldn't you?"

OOCJust as well. I'm so not into writing details anyway. My keyboard would probably burst into flames, and I'm sure my head would explode LOL. Soooo not my thing.

Daniel sensed the turmoil going on within Tichi, and attempted to silence them by pressing his lips against her’s. He could relate with having a dark past that one wished to forget. Though he had not been abused by his parent’s, watching as they got slaughtered had traumatised him. Even now, the very thought made him shudder against his bond’s slender frame.

His body tingled as she traced his chest with a finger, and he spoke, explaining how he had gotten it, “That one was from when I was 16, the gangs had it out for me, they knifed me across the chest.” He remembered the day well.

Daniel nodded at her next question, “Yes, I probably would, if only to make him pay for my loves suffering,” he mused, his eyes taking on a dark shade of blue, but quickly fading back to pink. “Now even more so than before we were bonded.” It seemed like they had been bonded for an eternity, not just a few hours, and he knew she felt the same way.

"I would have given anything to see that. Then, anyway. Now? I don't care. He's gone and ir - er - irrel - he doesn't matter anymore." Tichi kissed Daniel's jaw and yawned again, then leaned back a touch to look at him, one dark eye peering through a strand of brindled hair.

"So what happens now? I'd rather be here on the floor with you than in my own bed alone. Although I presume you have a bed somewhere. This seems like a really nice place but exploring it will have to wait until I have more energy. You wore me out," Tichi teased, nipping lightly at his nose with her teeth. "That's saying something. You know what it takes to wear out a squirrel? Well, I guess you do now, don't you." She giggled, eyes twinkling.

"Honestly I don't really care where I am anymore as long as you're there too."

“Yes,” Daniel agreed with a smile, “Irelivent.” The way Tichi was positioned made her appear very adorable, an eye peeking out from behind a lock of red-brown hair. He touched his forehead to her’s, noses gently pressing. He enjoyed the closeness of his bond, savoring her sweet breath and brilliant black eyes.

He laughed, quite ready to take her again after her flirtatious nip of his nose. “Yes, that was the best way of tiring you out I could think of,” he winked at her, kissing her once on the breast before picking her up, one arm on her back, the other the back of the knee. “Well,” he started, taking him to his room, “It is very common for bonds to share a bed, and I think we would both enjoy it. You can explore my humble home when the sun rises, which, actually, will not be in too long.”

Daniel was having around the same thoughts as her, so he hummed his agreement. He felt as if she was the thing holding him to the world, and if he went too far from his anchor, he would drift off into the stars. From his prior experience, he knew that it was almost a necessity for bondmates to stay close to one another 24/7. It lessened later on, but only by a TINY bit. He set her on his bed, and pulled the covers over both of them. “Care for another round?” he said suggestively, “Or is it time for us to give in, and at least try to sleep this night?”
