You can turn off the 'quick reply' box in the User Control Panel, if that helps. (see 'board preferences' and 'edit display options') I did that when I found myself looking for templates in the wrong place.

Improving a bit on yesterday! I'm finally-- FINALLY-- up to Tarot's word-count goal for the day. For the first time all month, I'm a few hundred words over where I need to be.

I didn't think it was possible, (or impossible, I simply didn't know either way! I kept and open mind!) and yet here I am. Four days from finishing, and I simply have to do Tarot's daily 1,666 increments. I will only need 6,150 words to reach 50,000! Over 86% of the way to 50,000! ~=- Quint

Improving even more on yesterday! Yesterday I was finally up to Tarot's word-count goal for the day. Today, for the first time all month, I'm almost a full day ahead. So now it's not a questioning of if I finish, it's now a question of when.

So, two days from finishing, if I do Tarot's daily 1,666 increments. Or three days if I do about 1,100 words a day. Either way, I only need 3,500 words to reach 50,000! Over 93% of the way to 50,000!

It is odd for me to be this close to doing something this awesome. I've been writing since July, creatively writing I mean, and for the first month or two I was only averaging a few days a week, 250 words a day. It's taken me almost five months to reach this level, and never before in my life have I been able to sustain writing more than 1,000 words a day.
