"And they all fall down," Daedalus muttered to himself, currently lost in his work at the small foundry run by an Isur named Velonos. Vel was a burly Isur with a black arm who was a close friend of his parents when they were alive. The old Isur gave Daedalus a job to support his siblings after the Djed storm. Daedalus was happy to work for him, but was even happier now that he was going to start his own business next season. ‘Dagwood Metal’, last seen in Sunberth run by his parents, shall rise from the grave yet again. That thought caused a smirk to spread across his lips while his hand moved with a steady pace which slowly etching a deep line into a piece of lumber with a saw.
It only took him a few strokes of his arm to embed the serrated edges of the saw into the center of a large piece of wood until it split into two halves. He left one half on the table then placed the second piece of lumber with the rest to be used later. He glanced to a piece of parchment on the desk written by Velonos which read: "Out of Bell Bronze holy symbols, make more for any noble deities. Also, we need more steel ingots."
Daedalus could practically hear the gravitas in the isur's voice in his mind as he read the text. "Alright, Bell Bronze and steel." They were both alloy that he could craft at the same time. Daedalus decided that he would use the coal fire smelting pot to create the steel and at the same time use the blast furnace to make the Bell Bronze.
