The Jungle Wilds, 22nd of Bell, 32nd of Fall 513 A.V
Late in the night and with some rays of Leth's light piercing through the thick foliages, the Viper Dhani in snake form was slithering through the humid jungle floor. The Dhani was hunting out, searching for the elusive Okapis once more, their meat was very delicious and the Viper wanted to taste them on her tongue again. Also, she wanted to be alone for a while, away from Mamoru, Yuki, Senka, and everyone else in the nest. Her mind was not in the mood for any social interactions.
The reason for her acting this way was because yesterday, she met a curious jungle dweller named 'Tinnok', a Myrian-Dhani half-breed. They met at first, some light confrontation before getting to know each other, then fought together to defeat a Myrian fang. However, just when she started to like the tall woman, Aka found out she and Mamoru had struck a deal. The Trickster wanted to mate with the half-breed and sire a child within her, this threw Aka into a rage driven by jealousy and envy. In the end, the Viper parted ways with Tinnok on poor terms. She hated how Mamoru could just plan to petch a half-breed, she hated on how he didn't look at her instead, and she hated the concern and pity visibly in Tinnok's eyes. In short, Aka was not in a good mood.
She kept silent as her sinuous form moved through the jungle, lapping the air for signs of animals or Myrians, also using her other snake abilities such as heat-vision and vibration-sensing. The Viper hoped she would find an Okapi soon, she had eaten yesterday, but her troubled mind urged her to ease her problems by eating. Alternatively, encountering a Myrian or two would be fine as well, her fire could always claim more souls for Ivak. So deep in her thoughts, Aka didn't realize she was venturing into an unknown part of the jungle. "Sss... where am I? She hissed in snake-tongue. It didn't worry her as all Dhani had some kind of homing instinct to guide them back to their Nest. She was more concerned with the unknown dangers, she could be heading into a Myrian settlement for all she knew.
However, the place she stumbled upon seemed safe. In fact, it was beautiful. The Viper was facing a clearing with small pools surrounding a larger pool in the center. She didn't get to observe long for a few ticks after that, she felt a push on her mind, on her djed. W-what? There was something unusual, something arcane about the clearing. Her rational mind was quickly eroded as her own body moved to one of the smaller pools. Then, she found herself raising her head, her serpentine face facing into the particular pool. What was happening here?
