The moment that the Akalak felt Caelum's body fall backwards so easily his mind was piqued. Sure Caelum might not have known how to counter such a move, it wasn't outside of the possibility that the other was just surprised that the Akalak had chosen a maneuver that would put him at risk of bodily injury. However the fact that Caelum's body did nothing to try and prevent it, not even in reflex until they were on the mat and Favchean's body was heavily on his rose his suspicions.
The suspicions were momentarily dismissed when a blow to the head made his head spin, which drove his body into instinct mode and he retaliated. His left arm raised and he dropped his elbow toward the midsection of the man trapped beneath his body. Once that blow was attempted he rolled, digging his shoulder into the man on the floor, and his hand fell but stopped right before he struck the throat of the Ethaefal. It was a demonstration of a blow that would have crushed a windpipe had Favchean not stopped it, the match was his. However he did not look pleased, his pale eyes shuttered and his brow furrowed.
Through out the spar Caelum had proven to be an apt opponent, not a novice playing with sparring. Then at the end it was almost as if Favchean was sparring with someone who had never worked with his body, which just stirred his suspicions more.
The large green man stood slowly then bent and offered the downed man a very large and square hand up. "I would say good match, but I don't think that one of us was really out to win." His voice was cool, not angry but definitely more chilled then it had been when he first came upon the sparring Caelum.
