* Physical Description
Azul has a pretty thin but muscular body counting a little over 6 foot. He has a short gray hair and an azure eyes. He was mostly carved with scars on his back and legs but none of it can be seen by other people as he hid it with his white, already decaying, tunic. Other than the scars, the other part of his body was already damaged by the weather and seem like he hasn't put much attention to them.
* Character Concept
Azul is the type of guy who doesn't usually put his nose in other people's business, nor he think that he would need help from other people. He got used to taking care of himself, and only himself, for the past two years, and as such, he’s not the perfect guy to have a talk, or get together, with.
Even so, he’s not a naïve, small-minded-person person who always wants to get things done by himself. He pretty much knows his limit and often times will not break them. When the situation occurs that he has to work with someone to get to his goals or getting his butt out of trouble, he would certainly do it. And finish the job with the highest perfection. Although, due to something in his past, he will still try not to get any close to his teammates during and after the mission.
Once in the past he was a slave for the Zith and now he despises them so much. When the situation happens when he would meet one of the Zith, he would slay them without mercy. He also dislikes the practice of slavery and, although he will not charge and break apart a slave auction, he would probably try to send the masters to oblivion.
* Character History
Azul came from a traveling merchant family. Twice every season his family would get into the caravan and wander off into some places new. In one unfaithful day, when he was twelve years old, his family got a little too far into the Zith territory and got caught. He was forced into slavery ever since, and at that time getting a whip on the back twice a day was a lucky thing.
After about three years serving the Zith there come a day that’ll change Azul’s life. His father was dead due to exhaustion and too much abuse by the Zith. His mother would follow soon after. Having lost two of the most important people in his life, Azul goes insane. He ran away from the Zith’s only to get chased down and caught again in the plain. Azul was ready to give his life in that place, but a wandering mage came nearby and accidentally save his life.
The mage was obviously regretting the fact that he had save the live of one young man. He gets away from there as quickly as he could, but Azul, having nowhere else to go, followed the man from that day. The mage, who goes by the name Corra, totally show Azul how he didn’t like a new company, let alone the company of a young kid. But Azul persisted. He kept following him, holding on to his robe, even stole one of Corra’s magic scroll just to get his attention.
Eventually, the man breaks down. He finally agreed on keeping Azul with him and by time, starts teaching him the art of personal magic. At first, he let Azul pick the discipline that he likes, and once he found that Azul has a personal interest over voiding, the initiation begun.
The days that followed after that was very, very boring. Corra only allow Azul to eat the same food, do the same routine, reply with the same answer each and every day. When he finally grasps the basics of voiding, next it was glyphing. It would not be long until Azul finally understands all he need to know about the other side.
But fate never seems to smile on him. Approximately 4 years after he met his masters, he saw his own master got sucked into the portal that he made himself. It was an accident. For three days and night Azul didn’t eat anything and seem to have lost the will to live. On the dawn of the fourth day, he took a closer look on his master’s scroll and suddenly found a new purpose in life. He will decipher his master’s work and fully master the art of voiding. But he learn his life lessons all too well. Having lost another one of his close one, Azul promised himself he would never let another person got too close in his life.
