Nhadia Appearance Race: Drykas Gender: Female Age: 23 Birthday: 23, Winter, 489 Birthplace: Endrykas Appearance: Her hair is a dark, chocolatey brown that hangs in thick waves to the small of her back. She has a love of decorating it with wraps, and you will often see feathers and beads dangling loosely from it. Often when she is riding or working, she will tie it back into intricate braids to keep it out of her face. Her face is angular, and her skin is tanned from countless hours being spent outdoors. She is striking in a girlish way, with a playful grin, but it's her hazel eyes that say the most. They are large and expressive, beneath a thick feathering of dark lashes. Scarring can be found on many places on her body, including her knees, stomach and forearms, evidence she has been in a few fights that didn't end in her favor. She is of average height (5'6) and small weight, with too-long skinny limbs and only enough curve to be notably feminine. Her windmark starts at her elbow, and works it way up her shoulder, and then up her neck and down her back. She received it when she was 13, and has continued to expand upon it since then. Character Concept Nhadia is almost always smiling as if she's up to something—and most often is. She is quick with her tongue and even quicker with her bow. Somewhere deep at heart there is a good woman, wanting to do right by the world and by her clan, but it hasn't quite reached the surface just yet. She suffers no fools and takes no shit, but will bat her eyelashes even as she insults. She will not hesitate to kill, if it is a means for survival. Fun and achievement are what drives her, often into reckless decisions and bold moves. One could say she has a bit of an impulse problem when it comes to having too much fun. She always speaks her mind, even when it is inappropriate, and cares little for formalities, a trait that has often caused others to label her as crude. Her tendency to be rather... silly at times, does little to improve this perception. She has a great sense of humor and loves a good prank. Character History The daughter of two of the Diamond clans warriors Nhadia was raised as a child predominately by her maternal grandmother, learning to ride, hunt and live on the Sea of Grass. When she came of age she joined her parents, and her people patrolling the Sea of Grass, ever vigilant for any sign of glassbeaks, and any other dangers. She currently still resides within her families Pavilion, which houses her extended family. Catori Nhadia and her strider bonded when she was 13 and Catori was just a foal. The strider was born very sickly, so bad that they said it was likely the foal wouldn't last a week. She had been excited for the birth of this horse, as it was from one of her families favorite mares and so she was devestated when she heard the news. Unwilling to give up on the foal, she decided she would stay by its side and take care of it to the best of her ability. She spent every night for a month with the foal, before things turned around for it healthwise. It was a surprise comeback, but she had never given up hope, and the two have been bonded ever since.
