The Rural Mizahar

Adding elements to the map.

I am not sure how this works in a PbP - but I can already tell that traveling characters will come across more then what is recorded on the main map, small towns and various sights.

Will these be added to the map over time? Is there some submission we should do before carrying a story into a town that doesn't yet exist?

One thing I'd like to stress is that Mizahar doesn't have too many remote hamlets, villages, and settlements. If you live outside one of the big city/state type fortresses - you don't have very much of a chance to survive. There are truly evil groups of violent murderous people roaming around. The Syliran Knights have somewhat rose above this in Syliras - so that province might have more outling areas... but thats about it. Falyndar is pure intense thick jungle. Kalea is really trecherous in traveling due to the extreme mountains. Cyphrus has endless grass, and Ekytol has deserts. Even Taldera has HUGE dire animals that eat any life they come across except in the extreme north.

Mizahar a really dangerous place to 'roam' unless your on a main road that is patrolled by say Syliran Knights - so the highway between Zeltiva and Syliras. Other roads are 'at your own risk'. The gate system at the base of the watchtowers work sporadically, but that is taking your life in your own hands as well. Sea travel is about the safest... though the Suvan is filled with pirates. People can live alone in unique situations, but normally if they somehow own their own strongholds, castles, towers, etc.

However to answer your question more carefully - yes the maps will be filled in with details on a region by region bases where more geographic features are presented - things like ruins, towers, roads, etc. If you want something added thats reasonable to exist, you can HD Ticket it and ask that it be added. I'd ask a storytellers permission however, before you 'create' something in their area.

It's also important to remember that, for such a large continent, Mizahar is severely underpopulated. It's what happens when 95% of the population dies in a single event...

But -- what Goss said. If there's something that needs to be added, and it seems to fit, by all means HD ticket it, and we'll see what we can do about adding it. ^_^
