Archailist The Squirrel of Syliras. "Humans and the others are all so boring; Clay is always more fun, y'know?" I'm not a little boy. I'm a squirrel. Grow some eyes! 001. Appearance Race: Pycon Gender: Male Profession: Squire Date of Birth: 2nd of Summer, 508AV Age: 6 Birthplace: Syliras Parents: Alive Fluent: Common Poor: Nari Basic: None Height: 5" Weight: 10lbs One day, I will find my true form. It'll be awesome, you'll see. Probably. Arch's basic body shape is a squirrel. It is the result of five years of slowly narrowing himself down from the vast shape-changes in his early youth; a struggle to become closer to his wholesome final form. As the years continue, he will only narrow himself even more, until he can eventually take his final 'true' body. For now, the squirrel is his body to represent his love of nature and the forest. Due to his clay composure, he makes significant alterations to help him maintain the same agility as an actual squirrel - he has elongated the tail and given himself larger paws, at the sacrifice of some other proportions. He is able to change himself at will and alter different parts of his body, and can be seen with a whole array of features built up around his squirrel-like body, from horns to a new set of tails or a second pair of arms; unfortunately this will rarely occur and at best, will only be used to communicate with new people. He is made of mostly grey clay, but with many brown tints that give him a realistic squirrel colour, regardless of the fact that he has no fur. Over the seasons, his appearance has changed drastically. The squirrel-like composure has become more refined. His limbs have narrowed and more clay has pushed itself into the center of his body and through the core of his tail to provide extra support and mobility. His features and posture have become more human-like. One of his most drastic changes has come at the beginning of Winter 515 AV. Clay has channeled behind his arms and between his shoulders, becoming small wings with clay spread thin over the membranes and in large lumps to give it a very spindly and bony aesthetic. A pair of wide, thin branch-like antlers have sprouted just in front of his ears. His eyes have lowered to his cheeks, giving room for three extra eyes to make a triangle-like pattern of five eyes along his face. It's not what you've got, it's how you use it. Pervert. 002. Personality Likes: Acorns. Dislikes: Fire. Ethics: Syliras and its inhabitants are the one true people. Yeah, I've got a lot running for me right now. You ever been five inches tall? No? Shaddup then. Archailist is, as all Pycon are, very curious. He will often find himself lost in a new pursuit with little, and sometimes no particular reason for doing so. When this happens, he is known to give up sleep, give up all other activities in order to focus entirely on this new skill, although enough provocation can make him focus elsewhere for small amounts of time. His largest aspiration, however, lies in the Syliran Knights due to his history with them. He looks to become a Pycon Knight, and show that the Pycon race are not only proud, but also very able regardless of their diminutive size that many ridicule. This does not mean he is entirely fixated on this purpose - it is his ultimatum, which he strives towards in everything that he does, but he is also relatively care-free and pays little attention to the dangers that he often throws himself head-first into, in pursuit of his sheer curiosity. He is often friendly and talkative, even when he shouldn't be, and delights in listening to others' pasts and their aspirations. Injuries :
And another quote for the pile 003. History Jeez, has it been five years already? These seasons fly by. Summer 508 - Winter 508. Arch began his life in Syliras, under his parents. It was in this area that he learned of the wonders of the Syliran Knights, and decided that he wanted to become one. When he explained this to his parents, he was given a hand-made Py-Pole by his father and then left to explore by himself. Spring 509. Traveling. Summer 509 - Winter 509. The first place in Arch's journey was Sunberth. He spent two seasons before he decided that it would be best to move on and find another city. Spring 510. Traveling. Summer 510 - Winter 510. The second city that he visited was Sahova, through ship. Though he quickly found little to keep himself entertained and there were very few... humans. Spring 511. Traveling. Summer 511 - Spring 512. Zeltiva was the third city of choice, and during his time there, he took a smaller travel to a Pyve in the Wilderlands, that took an extra few days. The Pyve was called Zeltyne. Soon after that, he took a trip by boat to meet up at the docks in Nyka. Summer - Fall 512. Arch took a boat from Zeltiva to Nyka, and from there only spent a brief few days before he moved up to Ravok. Winter 512 - Summer 513. Ravok was possibly one of the worst choices for the squirrel. However he wanted to learn about his future enemies, and so he spent two seasons searching about the city, learning about the Ebonstryfe. Fall 513. Traveling. Winter 513. Nyka was the final city to visit (even though he had visited it before, it didn't count as it was only a few days before catching another caravan) - and in some ways, it was the most educational. During his time there, even though it was much shorter than the other cities, he learned a lot more. He spent some time trying to resolve the issues facing the city, mainly involving the cultists that wanted to destroy all life to fuel the desires of a leader they would only ever refer to as the Ravarisk. He also traveled deep into the secrets of the city to uncover a strange monster that would never leave his thoughts, even as he left the city and vowed he would not return until he had gathered the skills needed to destroy it. Spring 514. He spent this time traveling with a companion, returning to Syliras in order to finally take up his mantle among the Order. Near to the end of this season, he joined the Order and finally became a squire. Summer 514. He spent much of this season struggling in his place to become a knight - training with his patron, gaining the necessary skills and reputation. Unfortunately, much of this season was spent arguing with his patron over various problems, but the rest of it was in relative peace. Fall 514. Tensions grew as he matured, fought off creatures and worked to save the city and its inhabitants from the attacks brought about on Stormhold Castle. By saving the White Swan and fighting off Yukmen, Balicani and Kriital, he distinguished himself in his own eyes, but could never overcome that of his own patron. Consequences :
