Aarro Tellhart

Postby Aarro on August 18th, 2010, 10:25 pm

■Name: Aarro Tellhart (Aliases: Jon Rook, Anton Stonearm and Slev Ulrak )

■Physical Information: Almost always a male body. Current body: 5'11' tall. A slim 180 lbs. Old and gray, body appears soft and fragile, hunched back. A wisp of silver hair rests atop his long, wrinkled face. Striking blue eyes change to green in the right conditions. Not an unattractive man, but certainly not ugly either. Has a pale white complexion and is generally aged all around.

■Race: Nuit (Strain: Everwalking)

■Birthday & Age: 29 Summer 317 AV (193 years old)

■Gender: Male

■Physical Description: Description depends on the body he is inhabiting at the time. Currently, Aarro is using the body he has been in for the last year, an old gray man, very fragile. He does have the body of a 17 year old boy lined up as his next vessel.

Character Concept
■Personality - Aarro has changed much in his long life. Two things that have remained sharp as ever are his dark wit and cyinisim. Blessed with an almost obsessive love of learing. Very interested in all things Uldr and has a deep passion for discovering the secrets of Djed and how it ties to the Nuit.

■Ethics - Given his past and being a Nuit has left Aarro with a very loose code of ethics and morals. He sees life as being his eteranl playground, bursting with things for him to experience...no matter what the cost. The life of another non-Nuit being seems of little value. A violent history and a long life of loneliness has hardened him and made it difficult for him to consider the feelings of another. He sees life as a series of goals and anything in his way are just obstacles. Others be damned. He also has no problem acting, lying or commiting murder to get what he wants. He holds what few friends he does have (all other Nuits) very dear.

■Likes - For being so self concerned,it's strange that Aarro takes great pleasure in observing nature and everything in it. He has great interest in Djed and how it flows through all.

■Dislikes - Aarro is a mostly emotionless being observing only the unviersal rules of Djed and instincts of any organism. Anything he finds trivial is frowned upon. He especially has no taste for the small talk humans and others engage in and the entire idea of the social niceties he finds repulsive.

■Character History: The first breath of his life was taken on a smoldering hot day in Sunberth. Born to his slave parents Ryjech and Alli, Aarro was the property of Roone Barnt.
Master Barnt was a cruel man who had a reputation for gambling and hard drinking. But he was even harder on his slaves. When Aarro was only an infant, his mother was raped and beaten to death after a night Master Barnt had lost an obsene amount of coin betting at the local arena fights. Brant forbade his slaves to couple and Aarro's birth was his mother's death sentence. His father's punishment was to watch his son be sold to a Master Animator called Zagist Voll for experimentation.
The child was heartbroken and terrified to be taken away from the only people and places that he'd ever known. It was with Master Voll that Aarro spent the next 13 years of his life as the man's personal servant. Moving all over, to distant lands, Aarro saw just how large the world really was. He was treated well, fed and clothed and schooled. Aarro learned much in that time of the business of an Animator. He watched as amazing rituals were performed and began to see his master as his father figure. In the back of his head, Aarro wondered why he, a slave child had been selected by a Master Animator.
Occasionally, Aarro's curiostiy got the best of him and he spied as his master spoke to other Animators in hushed tones about something called Daek-Nuit. He had no idea what it was until a year later when he found himself straped to a stone table. Only then did Aarro learn why he had been bought by Master Voll.
The ritual was a terrifying ordeal that was difficult for Aarro to remember. The details were fuzzy at best. He remembered strange glyphs and symbols (which he is now very familiar with), the blue body of a young man next to him, a black onyx blade and a stabbing pain...then utter blackness. What he does remember vividly is what happened after the ritual. As his eyes opened, everything felt foreign. Aarro felt as if he had fallen from life and was looking upon the world detached. Days passed before he looked in the mirror, but when he finally did, what he saw scarred his mind permanently. He was looking at the mirror and what he saw was a stranger. The next long few weeks were the most difficult of young Aarro's life.
For years, Aarro was instructed in the teaching of what he was...a Nuit. Voll taught him the process of jumping into bodies and many other useful bits of knowledge. Aarro was promised his freedom if he would continue to consent to experiments. The freedom never came and Aarro had gone through several bodies due to creul experimentation.
Finally the night came when Aarro was 19 years old. He had grown aggitated and was beginning to realize the magnitude of what he had become. A rage grew inside of him...a fire that could not be quenched. That his man could take away his humanity was too much to bear. He knew deep down that he had become something unnatural...something far from human. How would the Gods look on him now?
In an instant, Aarro made up his mind. Master Voll had to die. And die he did. Aarro crept into Voll's bed chamber deep into the night. It was quick work to smash a flower vase into the sleeping Animator's head as he slept. It was considerably longer work to dismember the man from foot to neck. Something changed forever in Aarro. His entire outlook on life changed as he sat smiling in the grotesque mess that was Voll's entrails. He was Nuit, and it was time to embrace that fact.

■Pre-Creation - A life littered with adventure. At one time, Aarro had found pleasure in traveling the world and jumping from body to body. But now, such things have become a chore. It is his current obsession to seek Uldr and learn the true origins of the Nuit. Alchemy has also been a subject of study for him.
