Appearance
Remaello stands at a respectable 11 inches in height, weighing in at approximately 20 pounds. His skin is a lustrous marbled white complexion, and he takes great pride in his personal appearance. His chiseled features are sculpted to resemble a handsome, proud hero, in a classical highly stylized mimicry of the marble statues surviving the Old Suvan empire. Bare-chested, he is sculpted to wear a breezy, loose-fitting kilt and carries an elaborately sculpted and detailed marble sword which is almost purely ornamental and not at all sharp. He also owns a tiny fine red cape and black wide-brimmed hat that he considers very dashing, and wears when about the town. Remaello holds a drole, mischievous smile most times, and thoroughly enjoys acting the part of a rakish vagabond. He speaks in velvety, seductive voice, favouring an anachronistic manner of speech, with a great love for flair and theatricality in language.
Character Concept
Remaello is a lover of life, of rich laughter and beautiful women, good wine and hearty feasts, though he is not truly able to partake in such indulgence himself, at least as humans conceive of it. He is a lascivious, flirtatious rake, has a perverse love of debauchery--his favourite pasttime is in instigating drunken revelry, brawls, and orgies. He has a strange insatiable appetite for human women, and is passionate about extolling the nature of beauty in the female form. Like most Pycon, Remaello abhors the mundane, revelling in the prospect of adventure but while he is game for almost any caper, he tends to most enjoy the thrills to be found in a night at the brothel or a greasy sailor’s den.
Remaello cares little for wealth beyond what immediate gratification it can bring but he does enjoy the collection of curious trinkets and exotic ephemera from across Mizahar. He is also a great lover of art and music in all forms, from the lowliest graffiti to grand works, from filthy limericks to masterwork symphonies.
Character History Remaello's mother works in a cobbler’s shop, as an assistant. Remaello was almost immediately disdainful of such a mundane existence, and left home to revel in the chaotic mess of humanity that is Sunberth. He has scraped by with odd performance jobs at various winesinks and whorehouses throughout the city, juggling, telling ribald jokes or singing bawdy songs. He tried his hand as a cutpurse briefly, but found he could not keep himself from raucous and hearty laughter at his first success, immediately alerting his mark to the theft. After scraping himself off the roadway, he decided that while the thrill of thieving made it an admirable profession, it was probably not the best for him.
He still visits the cobbler's shop from time to time, and has a care for his mother.
