Tarik Appearance Race: Nuit Gender: Currently Male Age:110 years old, current body appears 25 Birthday: Born human 35 Winter 403AV; Turned into Nuit 26th, Summer, 438AV Birthplace: Sahova Appearance: Current body appears to be a young adult male around the age of 25 with long black hair that he keeps pulled in a ponytail and very pale skin. He is very thin looking yet rather tall at the same time standing about 5’10’’ but probably barely over 100lbs. Character Concept Tarik is a Nuit that was created approximately 75 years ago by Zarik Mashaen, via the transfer of a soul from the Daek-nuit process. He practices Malediction as his primary source of magic while performing errands for other wizards while training as an apprentice to become one himself. Character History When Tarik was human he went by the name John and became an apprentice to a very skilled magecrafter. However he quickly discovered the darker side of magic. He was reading through his master's old tomes when he discovered a book about something called the Legacy. It turns out that the Legacy is an ancient form of the modern Malediction. After reading much of this book and discovering things about Malediction and Legacy testers he was approached by his master and warned about the power of what he was researching. Tarik's master being a highly skilled Magecrafter forbade his pupil the use of Malediction. Tarik then took it upon himself to learn the craft had fallen in love with. He had heard stories of the mages of Sahova and what they were capable of so he made the journey there and volunteered for the ARMED program and was turned into a Daek-nuit. John was only 35 when he underwent the process and has not looked back since. He gave up his real name at this point calling himself Tarik, in honor of Master Zarik Mashaen. Since then he has been studying Malediction in between running errands for Masters and Wizards. His goal in unlife is now to make Malediction one of the foremost magics on Sahova and eventually become a master. And show his former master that Malediction is to be respected as equally as Magecrafting. Tarik is also the apprentice of the well known and one of the only successful humans on Sahova, Frankie Lee Tieh. While he is grateful be her apprentice he views her like the others he meets in general, as a resource helping him work towards his ultimate goal and an obstacle he wishes to surpass.
