Taloba, home to the Myrians, is the thriving core of Falyndar. Inhabited by a fierce and savage tribe where blood sacrifices are normal and a way of life, they are untamed and proud of it. Warlike, and with their numbers growing, the Myrians are set on reclaiming what is rightfully theirs. [Lore]
High outside Taloba's barracks rises an extensive obstacle course high in the jungle canopy. Beginning low to the earth, The Tiger's Jaws was designed to challenge and condition soldiers with physically and mentally demanding rope courses. With each completion of a set, the platforms connecting the vast lines rises higher into the trees. Those brave enough to try their hand will experience a wide array of hindrances such as monkey bars, walls, towers, nets, zip lines, swinging rope series, and so on with unpredictable combinations. It's not uncommon for natural formations nearby like waterfalls and cliffs to be incorporated as well. The very few that manage to conquer the most difficult series of obstacles, may be seen returning with weighted vests to further their physical toughness. There are five courses of different skill levels that are patrolled by trainers from bridges and walkways between platforms. Besides the occasional bark of superiors, the closest thing to safety precautions given out are simple rope harnesses. Enter at your own risk.
Services: Trainers may be hired to coach the lesser skilled on more difficult courses or work to find new ways to challenge the masters for a price. For a single grueling session, expect to pay 7 Bikka.
Employment: Due to the relatively dangerous nature of the course, trainers are required to be diligent and keen in their tasks. In addition, they should be knowledgeable enough to find new, creative ways to challenge participants. The more skilled a trainer is in observation, acrobatics, climbing, and body building, the greater difficulty of course they're allowed to oversee. At the basic ground level, trainers must have at least 10 points in observation.
Training Info: Though primarily utilized by military personnel, The Tiger's Jaw remains open to any up for a challenge. Virtually anyone past their Coming of Age is permitted to use the course, though if a trainer on site deems one unfit for the course they've chosen, they will not be allowed to use it.
Example: A player without competency in either acrobatics or climbing will not likely be given permission to use a course designed to challenge those with expert skill levels. However, a novice would be given the opportunity to challenge themselves with a course designed for those with required skill competency.

Daiko's Skills: Observation - 88; Acrobatics - 56; Climbing - 78; Body Building - 52 Gnosis: One Mark from Myri
Hailing from the clan that originally developed The Tiger's Jaws, Daiko of the Weeping Stone is the current head trainer of the courses. He is a quiet man whose eyes survey his vicinity with a precise gaze. Contrary to his son's methods, Daiko is a man of constructive criticism. He focuses on the mental strength of the individual, believing it is the core to succeeding the challenges of the course. He is more likely to call out pride and encouragement than insults. Each soldier that enters The Tiger's Jaws becomes much like another child to him, and like any father, Daiko will do what he can do ensure they succeed.
Mawi's Skills: Observation - 74; Acrobatics - 84; Climbing - 70; Body Building - 67 Gnosis: One Mark from Myri
The hardened, angry son of Daiko is not a man to be trifled with. Mawi is a man forged within the fires of the jungle and the military, slayer of both beasts and Dhani alike. It is through those brutal experiences that he has returned as a trainer at his clan's establishment, bringing with him the harshness of combat to those he oversees. Mawi is the heckler of the course. His objective focuses on the physical limits, exploiting them to invade his target's mentality as well. Despite his unforgiving punishments, Mawi is indeed his father's son. He knows his ultimate duty is to prepare his fellow Myrians for the perils that await them down the road. In Falyndar, he believes tough love in training is the difference between survival and death in the field.
