Timestamp: 12th of Winter 513
The wind gently blows through the tall wheat, making it seem like they were synchronize dancing in slow motion. Swaying side to side in perpetual motion to unknown music. The wind nips at a girl standing in the middle, tousling her short ruddy brown hair in moments of a more powerful gust. Her face obscured and when ever she turns, one can only catch a glimpse of her. Despite the breezes, the girl is unable to feel it only see its effects, hear its gentle calling, smell the faint aroma of the wheat.
Off in the distance on the edge of the field, a tower lies in ruin, the top clearly missing. The pieces scattered around it, in no particular order. No matter how hard the girl tries to open and enter the doors they refuse to budge. Her attempts to open them interrupted by vicious growling getting louder by the tick. The girl slowly turns around to face the frightening voice and comes within feet of a monster with deep crimson eyes. They follow her every moment but the girl is too frighten to move. The monster pounces for the girl to maul her and she screams in terror.
The monster never reaches her but instead she is at a new location. How she ended up there is beyond her but there is only one way to go. A long winding staircase leading down is before her. The girl takes one step at a time, feeling no need to hurry. Besides where else can she go but down?
The staircase seemed to go on forever, no matter how many stairs she went down, ten more took its place. After a while the girl finally reaches the bottom but there waiting is a skeleton.
Things go fuzzy and the girl disappears all together and a single object comes into view but only briefly. A silver key with two arms and a horizontal infinite symbol before going blurry again and replaced with a new image, a doorway with two vertical infinite symbols. The door lingers longer than the key as if it was important to remember. Then everything goes black for awhile, a true black that is all consuming of color and light.
Things lighten up and the girl is back in the canyon where the hunt of the blue elk took place. The magnificent creature had lead his harem through the canyon until they realized it was a dead end and turned back around, it was the perfect moment to shoot it with a well place arrow. Where the elk was once standing was now Azira and not far away Turrin with his bow posed and aim straight for her heart.
Turrin releases the arrow and instead of it whizzing through the air, it is all in slow motion again. The arrow has a clear flint on it as if it was made from glass. It shines in Syna's rays that are casting down over the top of the canyon. The fletching is dark as kohl and is a stark contrast against the clear flint head. The girl can only watch as the arrow strikes its target, unable to move, unable to stop it despite its snail slow place, and unable to shout a warning.
