Lephora really didn't like Naria, and Sayani couldn't blame the older woman. If her daughters were even worse than the gossiper hunter, than Sayani was glad she had never talked to any of them. She wasn't sure she would be able to put up with it.
"I expect it will take a while before I can even try morphing successfully." Sayani answered, with a smirk. She was a patient and perfectionist person. If it would take time, but that meant she would be able to do it in the end, Sayani didn't mind. "And I care little about money. You're giving me something much more precious." she said, before nodding and standing up, to get the water Lephora had requested.
The Symenestra exited the room, and looked around. The residence of the Orphine Web wasn't physically different from others in Kalinor, but, at the same time, the ambiance and feeling was completely different from any other. The walls were very thin, and sometimes Sayani could see the shadows of people passing outside the house, very similar to ghosts. She knew better than to be afraid, but it wasn't exactly comfortable either. To add to that feeling, there were no doors, only curtains separating the rooms. Somehow, this seemed to both the idea of what others Symenestra had of Lephora and the very personality that the old woman had demonstrated to have. And yet, Lephora's daughters were completely out of place, as if they didn't belong in the strange house. Maybe they truly didn't.
When Sayani walked to the kitchen, the three woman followed her, their faces confused. She ignored them, both when she entered the kitchen and when she left, holding a glass of water. If Lephora didn't exactly like her daughters, there was no reason for Sayani to be polite to them, specially since she didn't think any kind of talk would be interesting.
She returned to the room, and handed Lephora the glass, before sitting once again in the bed.
"Should I tell you when I fail to think about nothing?"
