Snowdrop flipped over the book to look at the cover. “How to Be Sociable” the book read. Snowdrop tilted her head in confusion. Then a light bulb clicked on in her head. This explained all the reasons why Etori seemed a little off for the young Vantha. Movement caught her attention, turning her swiftly she saw Etori leave the library. She dropped the book and started to head towards the door before a slight pull of the hair stopped her.
She looked behind her and saw Jack holding a piece of her hair. “Jack let me go I need to go after her,” Snowdrop whined. Etori was so familiar to her and she just wanted to know who she was. It wasn’t like she going to judge her because of the minor fact that the other didn’t know how to be social. Even when snowdrop was little, she was anti-social, barely spoke, and stayed to herself. Thankfully she was able to break away from that shell of unobtrusiveness.
Jack let go and looked Snowdrop in the face. She looked distressed and confused. From the couple of months he has known her, he never seen her so disheveled. It made him feel a little put off by it. Snowdrop didn’t seem like the girl to feel sad or mad, just happy and annoying.
Snowdrop looked at him with a mixture of green and orange eyes. She wanted to cry, it felt like Etori was leaving her for a second time, which didn’t make much sense to the little girl. Wiping her tears that haven’t fallen from her eyes, she smiled and went back to the front desk to continue to supervise.
Maybe I could find her. Ooo a cake would fix this mix up, maybe she’ll be my friend.
