The training gallery… look at all thiss open sspace! ”
Xen shouted in amazement! He had never seen such a large carven in Zinrah, he could throw a party in here, if he had friends—oooooh! Xen would spend his day training here, or doing something that involved burning the immense amount of free time he had. The viper was puzzled. He couldn’t decide what to do first. Xen had one mission objective though, avoid a wrestling match with a constrictor. He would be crushed or forced to submit to the winner’s demands, if he did engage a constrictor in that sort of combat.
Xen squint’s his reptilian eyes to observe the carefully laid out environment before him. There were areas where he could run without the fear of falling and smashing his face on the stone floor. Xen’s idea was set, he was going to run around the area that vaguely resembled the jungle—Falyndar stage. The viper hears the sound of footsteps approaching the training gallery, as he walked towards the area he chose to train in.
Xen reaches his destination; he stretches his arms and legs to prepare and limber up his joints and muscles. The viper firmly places his feet onto the ground and runs through the stone jungle area. He doesn’t run at top speed but with just enough momentum to propel his body forward while allowing him to maintain a moderate level of control to avoid falling or crashing.
Xen could see his first obstacle approaching him. A stone resembling a fallen log was resting in his path. The viper braces himself and leaps over the obstacle; he lands and bends his knees to lessen the impact on his joints and muscles. Xen continues his mild run; he bobs and weaves through the forest of pillars—almost smashing into one pillar, as he momentarily loses his footing on the moist floor. Xen stops to catch his breath and realizes that he needed to find a better running technique or discover one himself.

“
Alright! ”
Xen was getting pumped! The red flowing passion within his body surged with extremity! He placed his left fist into his open right palm, causing a loud smack. Xen turns to face the area he passed and conquered in order to perfect his running posture and technique. The viper walks forward and places his entire right foot onto the ground.
He was trying to get into the habit of running on his feet and not on his toes. While maintaining a steady rhythm, he brings his left foot forward and does the same. Xen picks up the pace and starts to jog, his mental focus set solely on the rhythm his body was slowly adapting to.Xen takes his rhythm to the next level and propels his body forward. He runs through the area again, jumping over the first obstacle he encountered before in his first run—the log made of stone.
Xen’s knees bend to lessen the impact of his fall and his arms swing forward to ensure that his upper body and lower body were doing an equal amount of work. Xen’s upper body and lower body were working in unison rather than against each other. In order to spread the work of his running effort all over his entire body and take the load off of his legs, he prevents the work from falling onto a single muscle group. Xen was worked on his upper body and lower body coordination skills—preparing his body for focused training and combat.
The pillars were ahead of him. Xen darts to the side and concentrates solely on the rhythm. He closed off all other distractions such as the voices of the conversing constrictors in the wrestling ring, some meters away from him, and the insistent dripping of water all around him. Xen meditate on his thoughts and focuses; training, growing stronger, growing more focused. The viper reaches his goal; he does a fist-pump—success! Xen was overjoyed and slightly fatigued from the immense amount of focus he expended to obtain his success.
He sits down, allowing the cool droplets of water to descend from the ceiling and onto to his forehead. Xen uses the back of his hand to remove the sweat from his forehead: thus smearing his efforts in the form of water, across his skin. The viper’s eyes roam across the training gallery and spots three constrictors. He was sure that these were the constrictors he overheard in his training and from his observation; he could see that they were in their dhani forms.
“What are they doing?”

“
Sso tired… mussst…find… out… what…consstrictorss… are…doing. ”
Xen dragged his tired body across the cold stone floor. He could hear the constrictors giggling ahead of him, signaling to him that they were female or really feminine males—he hoped the first. Xen flops onto the edge of the ring; he’d finally reached the ring! Only that he was being laughed at by the young constrictors. Xen climbs onto the platform with his eyes squinting in mock frustration; he knew his appearance was rather laughable: a price to pay for trying to stay healthy and fit. Xen stretched his limbs to avoid thinking about how tired he was.
“Sssup, ladiess.”
Xen plays it cool, as he brushes his hair back with his right hand. The three constrictors stared blankly in Xen’s direction, probably wondering why this completely exhausted viper-dhani was talking to them. Xen whips the sweat off of his forehead and notices that his body was glistening. Xen couldn’t help but smell himself: ugh, so fowl! Xen covers his nose; he was unable to handle his own body odor and tries to stand-up again to leave the training gallery. He ends up falling over and flopping onto the platform, exhausted.
Xen couldn’t imagine the last time he was this exhausted which made him smile. Xen rolls onto his back and looks at the ceiling. A droplet of water hits the middle of his forehead, causing smaller droplets of water and sweat to scatter. Xen felt a sense of accomplishment: he did work hard this day. He closes his eyes to further embrace the coolness of the platform beneath him; it felt really good to relax after a good workout after all.
Xen opens his left eye to see a female constrictor looming over him with a big smile. Xen sits up immediately to find himself surrounded by the three constrictors, he knew things were about to get weird. The look in their eyes spelled trouble, recalling the last encounter he had with a female constrictor…he was a bit distrustful of some females. Xen raises both hands to his chest: in a manner saying ‘I don’t want no trouble’.
Xen found that he was being corned by these young constrictors, it was a predicament that he was not going to be able to talk himself out of…but he would try. Xen observed his surroundings; deep indigo colored eyes saw no openings to jump through, and things were not looking good. Xen nervously laughed in an attempt to make ease of the situation but it to wasn’t helping him.
“Okay, you can do whatever you want to me jusst avoid the face!.”

“
Anything we want huh? ”
The brown scaled constrictor said in a mischievous tone. She looks past Xen and into the eyes of the yellow scaled constrictor standing behind him. Xen eyes scanned the surrounding area for something to focus upon, something to be his scapegoat. The only thing that was present…was sweat and droplets of water along the floor. Xen at this point, thought that these little particles of liquid would lead to his success. He didn’t have time to celebrate, as he was suddenly grabbed from behind. The yellow scaled constrictor brought her arms upwards from underneath Xen’s armpits and held him in place.
Xen struggles in futility! The constrictors full nelson technique wasn’t the problem but her strength was what held him in place. Xen after feeling a deep sense of regret wished he had not spoken those words. The brown scaled slithered closer to Xen and places a hand on Xen’s chest. She grins, as she caresses the chest of the young male dhani. Xen twitches and wiggles under the female’s cold touch. He didn’t like where this was going yet found himself unable to escape…at the moment.
“H….hey, w…wait a minute ! We don’t need to do this?!”
The level of humiliation Xen was going through right now was undeniably immense. He clenched his teeth and growls under his breath. The constrictor was constantly feeling on his chest and stomach: in a fashion similar to how someone would be looking for an object in the dark. Xen was less anxious but more confused than ever, what was this constrictor looking for?
“ You’re not female? ”
Oh, right in the masculinity! Xen was released after the brown scaled question. Whether the other constrictor that held onto him felt sorry for him or not remained a mystery. The blow Xen received to his manhood dealt a considerable amount of damage. He was stunned at the fact that a female constrictor couldn’t tell his gender. Xen had to respond to the question, he was not going to allow it to pass unperturbed.
“ No! I’m a male and a fast one at that! ”
Xen crouches and kicks backwards to propel his body forward, he was quick enough to escape the circle of constrictors but now he had to avoid them all—three versus one. Xen barely manages to reclaim his balance of the slippery floor, as he stands up. Though he was successful in avoiding a fall, his troubles would not here. A constrictor from the group charges then lunges for him! Xen reacts quickly; he moves his right foot behind his left foot in a circular motion while he pivots on his left foot and turns his upper body to the side. The constrictor glides pass Xen but he did not wait and see if the constrictor was okay.
Xen without enough energy or strength to wrestle or fight-off a constrictor; especially three of them, leaps off the platform and bends his knees to lessen the impact on his joins—he bolts for the exit after his recovery. Xen was starting the see a trend going on with him running away from constrictors. He felt his body weigh down on him—his movements becoming dull and unrefined from fatigue. Xen pressed on until he reaches the wall near the exit: where he stops to catch his breath. Xen turns and looks upwards to see the three constrictors standing idly on wrestling platform.
The brown scaled yells in his direction “My name’ss Casssandrasles” and winks in Xen’s direction. She points to her right “Fallesssallisss isss right here.” And then she points to her left “That one over there isss, lying on the ground is Ssondressala, my ssissster.”
Xen eyes squint in suspicion before he waves and announces his name to them.
“The names Kssssen, don’t stalk me, okay?”
Xen leaves the training gallery; dirty, smelly and tired.
