AppearanceRace: Vantha
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Birthday: 20, Winter, 493
Birthplace: Wind Reach
Appearance: Kavka is five feet even with dark brown hair, lightly streaked with purple. None would say Kavka looks intimidating at all. In fact most who meet him note a kind and innocent demeanor almost like that of a child. He weighs 135 lbs. He has pale skin and is always very neat and presentable.
Character ConceptKavka has a kind, compassionate, and naïve presence about him. Things like flirting, innuendo and subtlety often seem to elude him. He will often be seen learning new things, practicing his natural talents, or volunteering. He has an exceptionally kind heart which makes him gullible. He is a hopeless romantic about a lot of things including justice and romance. He has a black and white sense of ethics thanks to his naïve nature. However the old saying forever rings true, it is usually the most kind hearted people you never want to see angry.
Character HistoryKavka was born in Wind Reach, though his parents were of Vantha blood. His family moved to Wind Reach to live in the great mountains and enjoy a change of scenery from Avanthal. Kavka's mother died in childbirth and his father died of a terrible illness. Before death, his father took the young Vantha, 10 at that age, to the frozen city of Avanthal knowing that the Vantha people were famous for their hospitality and would never turn away one of their own. His father died at the gates. It had been ages since anyone had even heard of Devra Whitevine and Ifan Iceglaze. The Icewatch took the child in to the city, clueless as to what to do with the child.
A young woman had recently entered Avanthal that winter. She was a young nomad, grief stricken at her inability to bare children, a fact she never shared the reason of with anyone. She had gone on her long journey eight years ago and sought the wisdom of Morwen in Avanthal when she entered the city. Her appointment with the Goddess was set for the following evening and at that time news of the mysterious Vantha child had gotten around town faster than a frost hawk's flight. Syrie, a beautiful Inarta woman of 37 at that time saw the Icewatch bring the young Vantha in. When the time came for her appointment with the Goddess Morwen her search for the Goddess' sage advice turned into a request. After a year of searching no one found any relation to the young Vantha and no other solutions were feasible, so the Inarta adopted the young Vantha and named him Kavak. Morwen decided they should take up residence in Frostfawn hold and thus Kavak received his Vantha surname. There the two misfits stayed to this very day.

HousingLocation: The Frostfawn Hold
House: 1 basic 20x20 Arvinta in a Hold with a hearth, bunk, chest, chair, and small table.
Each Arvinta consists of a communal meeting or sitting room. Then there are private rooms for couples, and a common sleeping/living room for all the children. Visitors are often given a private room, while a couple will move in with the children to make extra room. Some of the larger, more expansive Holds with wealthier families have spare rooms in their Arvinta or special guest quarters when people move from place to place visiting. Holds often have common areas and craft cottages in buildings attached and are always made of solid stone. External buildings are often built from ice and warmed from within by special braziers that conduct heat into the room but do not melt the thick ice walls. A Hold may contain multiple Arvintas and might hold upwards of a couple hundred people.
