Birthplace: North West Kalea
Appearance: Asani was born of an odd ethnic mix. As such she has black hair, pale almond skin, and dark blue-green eyes. She’s an athletic looking woman with a long and slender frame.
She stands at five foot four inches.

Character Concept

Asani is a lively, level-headed woman who smiles and listens more than she speaks. When she does feel the need to voice her opinion on a topic, or to give any sort of real input, she makes sure it is something pertinent and worthwhile. She’s blunt and sometimes harsh with her words, though uses them sparingly and effectively. She places a high value on loyalty, and less on truthfulness. She is generally forgiving in nature, though she never will forget being wronged.
Asani has a harsh sense of justice, standing as a firm believer in the ‘an eye for an eye’ method of dealing with issues. When things are too quiet, she sings in her mothers language, Vani. She held onto her mothers love for the Goddess Queen Morwen, and longs to one day return to her Birth City.

Asani is no fighter-- she is a trade woman. An artist at heart, she would rather craft something of beauty and travel to sell her work, rather than to simply go on a misadventure. She has a solid head on her shoulders and is sound voice of reason when things don't go according to plan.

Character History

Asani’s twin died at birth, and was raised by her mother --the Vantha-- until the age of 9, up in the Cold North. The year her mother died of illness, she was brought to her birth father in Wind Reach, at her mother’s last request, and was left to finish growing with the Inarta people. Her father was a glass blower, who sent her to live in the Youth section of the city. She only remained there for 6 months before her natural dexterity shone through.

By the standards placed upon her by her mothers people, she believes herself to be hopeless when it comes to love, and has accepted the fact that she will never marry, referring to herself as a ‘thawed maiden’—though who knows for sure. As an Artisan (Avora) she still hopes that a rider will one day admire her work enough to ask for her hand.
