Winter 14, 315av
It had been quite a few days since the avalanche had occurred, and being someone who needed to get above ground to make a living, she had offered her services to help clear the way to the surface one more. After only two days however, the Symenestra woman felt the need to go hunting for something other than animals... warmer clothes. After all she wouldn't be much use if she was frozen, or sickly.
Synntina was wearing the usual today, a soft, grey colored, silken top with dark purple silk pants. And a small knapsack, tethered to her side with a few odds and ends. No shoes though, so the bare skin of her feet could touch the silken roads of the city her people called home. A city above the floor, but below the ground. In her eyes, it was nothing but beauty, and she respected everything about it. From the dim lights that shed only a small light on the detail in every woven house and building, to the vast nothingness that was often times, a question to all.
The woman was in no rush today, and made her way leisurely toward her destination. The weaving school known as The Weft and Warp. It was the one place in all of the city that she knew someone could help her find what she needed, for the right price of course. She didn't have much at the moment.. forty-nine gold mizas. Hunting was rough for her last season, as it was almost every fall for her. It was the season in which her father had disappeared, and was then found with an arrow through his chest. Fall was a season where she was almost always on her guard, and because of it, made bad decisions on when to shoot, or when not to. But never the less, she figured she could find something to keep her fragile bones from clattering.
She entered the building through the curtains of silk and down the narrow staircase. She did not feel compelled to say a greeting, because knowing the Anthurium family, they already knew she was here.
