10th of Winter, 513 AV
Location: Aka's Cavern, in her cage
Another day. Another dim passing of the sun over the horizon. Another tick of the clock, a movement of the hand. Evalin ignored it all. She lay flat on the floor of her change, the manacles on her wrists rattling with every movement she made. Her eyes were closed, absently pondering the situation as it had become. On her chest rested Tsenrika in his sealed form, quiet as well. Neither one seemed to wish to break the peaceful silence, if such thing as silence really COULD be peaceful.
Shifting to lay on her side Evalin looked down at her hands folded together in front of her, "Tis a strange day when I grow to look forward to the return of the girl. Perhaps stagnation has finally done what an eternity of running never could. Perhaps I have at last lost the final portion of my wits and now lay about in a dismal stupor. What think you Tsenrika? Might we simply be out there somewhere, just half dreaming all that we do now?"
Hope I that this not be so, for what a waste it would be to lie about when the world has yet to be torn asunder.
Evalin smiled and closed her eyes, "But at times this could be quite a good dream. No worries but of the present, and if I am finding the time to lazily doze then surely I am not want for anything."
Perhaps, or your life has long sense ended and now you exist in a strange place between the cycle and life, trapped here as punishments for your wrong doing.
"You are not the best of partners when it comes to things of dreams and invisionments of better things."
Say you not that those of Immortality can dream not?
Evalin thought for a moment, curling her knees up to her chest to lay in an almost fetal position, "Indeed you are right my dear Tsenrika... Thus it must be that if this is a dream then I am yet alife, which all the more makes me think this dream be of more good than ill."
Evalin could just barely feel the familiar's amusement through their bond as he replied in his usual monotoned way, Then waken you now or slumbering Witch. Surely I would like to meet the face of my Master who is refreshed and still in loving devotion with a pulse. His mocking chuckled was all it took to make Evalin's eyes roll, "If this be a dream then you are nothing more than a figment of fiction. Thus your words mean nothing at all the the fact of reality."
There was the sound of the door to the chamber beginning to open, and Evalin reflexively clasped her hands over Tsenrika. "Well now, I wonder what product of a fevered mind is this that knocks upon the door of my subconsciousness."
Perhaps you have dreamed of the means of your escape from this solitude. What wonder would that be indeed...
