As Isilla walked through the gates, a gust of warm wind slowly washed over her. She smiled, the warmth was very comfortable. She walked in deeper and saw a man. She approached her, "Excuse me, are you Mr. Balak? The lady at the job center told me that I could get a job here, I have strong hands and I could do some massaging here, I currently don't have any experience, but that could change..." She observed her surroundings, it was made from the same stone that the rest of the Stormhold was made of, it was a pale grey color. She stared at him, awaiting his answer.

Isilla Ivis Balak smiled pleasantly as Isilla introduced herself and explained why she was there. As soon as she mentioned work, he nodded and waved her to one side, away from the usual flow of customers. Those customers seemed to consist of an awful lot of men and women in the uniform of the Syliran Knights. "I don't mean to sound presumptuous," he murmured, his smile still friendly, "but you do understand what services this establishment provides to the city, yes? While massage is an important aspect of what a young woman might find herself asked to provide, it is not the only service she might be required to offer," he said, eyebrows raising suggestively. He glanced to one side, drawing her attention to one of the female employees, a young Chaktawe woman whose sensuality could not be denied - and who gave Ivis and Isilla both a flirty little smile and a nod as she passed and went on her way towards the private rooms.

Isilla listened intently and nodded, she was expecting to have an answer like that. She didn't care about the occasional sex for money, especially cause she needed it. "Yes, I think I do know what you're talking about, and I don't really care.. It IS for the money, and I think I do have the looks and the strength for it." She saw the Chaktawe woman smile at her, who was acting awfully sensual and she smiled back at her. She might make some nice friends here, she wasn't friendly, but she knew that to get friends, she'd need to be. This seemed to be a nice place to make some friends with a common cause.
" Also, I have a question..." she paused "If I work here will I be mainly doing THAT? Or will it normally be massaging and taking care of the customers general needs?.

Day 21, Spring of 511 A.V.
Alina had always had trouble finding this place even though it had obvious double doors on the third tier. So when she finally did find it she sighed with great relief. *Finally... I do hope that I will find a mentor here or even better yet some one who can read this diary better then I can.* At this thought, she opened the doors and headed down the long staircase that lead down to the reception desk. It took her a few minutes because she didn't want to fall or trip the rest of the way down but she finally made it down in one piece.

Alina had always hated talking to strangers. Especially those who looked like they didn't have time for you. Thankfully though, all the people here seemed quite relaxed and happy. Heading towards the reception desk, she paused. *What am I supposed to ask!* She thought and frantically started to think of just the right way to word things. You see, Alina really didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings or make herself seem like a rude person. Alina only thought this because normally people ask for a bath here, not a job. *Well... I guess I can just wing it.* Stepping up the to reception desk, she did just that. She crossed her already sweaty palms and took a deep breathe. Looking the receptionist dead in the eye she begins, "Hello my name is Alina and I was directed here from the welcome center to see if there were any jobs available." She finished her eyes unwavering from the receptionist but she was a bit more calm now that the question was finally asked.

AlinaNansay The receptionist, a young man named Ivis, smiled warmly as she approached. "Well, be welcome here, my young friend," he said. "We're always happy to have referrals from Amitahb's people. What sort of position are you looking for, and how long will you be in Syliras? I only ask because so many who look for jobs seem to be but itinerant travelers on their way to somewhere else," he chuckled. Alina smiled back at the receptionist. "Well to be honest I really want to learn more about medicine and herbs but it's fine if I can just help in any way." She said and then started to think. 'I wonder how long I will stay here... Maybe I should just stay a season but I really don't know much about the outside world so it would be smart to stay longer.' After a short moment of silence she answers him, "How long can I stay?"

Ivis tilted his head slightly and regarded Alina for a moment, "So you already know some about medicine and herbs? If so, then we could definitely put you to work in helping to care for the injured Knights and Squires that show up all the time," he paused a moment as she posed her question, and then grinned, "You can stay as long as you don't anger the Knights, same as everyone else in Syliras," Ivis gave another chuckle at what he appeared to think of as a joke.

30th Spring, 511 AV

Ageru smiled as he entered this fine place. There was nothing as soothing as a fine bath house, and this one was one of the better smelling place, something that came to him as a relief. This was a place where the soiled become clean and the injured healed, and it had a nice atmosphere to it. He liked it, and mingled in it just about slowing his pace just to waft in the smells. A little weird, but he didn’t care. This was surely a place he could get used to coming to. He nodded to himself as he crossed his arms walking up the reception.

Hearing the question asked of him he gave the man in front of him a polite smile as he let his arms drop to the side. His cat-like eyes staring at him as if silently inspecting him, ”I would like a job here.” he stated without hesitating, his shoulders relaxing a bit as he talked to the man, ”I believe I can be a great member of the team.” he nodded reassuringly, either to himself or to the man was unknown, ”I have skills in massage” he said with a slight smile wondering if he should mention or not that he has been marked by a goddess or not. Unsure and thinking it might help his situation he leaned in a little lowering his voice to but a whisper and smiled, almost smirking at him, ”Im also marked by the Gods.” he kept his smile on him, ”I was told by NIkali.” and that was true. He knew he had been marked by something, but his long ago owner said it was Nlkali and so who was he to argue about a name?

Though he most often relied on his blunt instincts more than ever in this city he wondered how far this would get him. He was up front with the man, and even after he spoke he shifted his weight back so he was standing straight again. What could be more desirable than being up front, than honesty? He thought nothing, and so he would keep his almost up front attitude. He began to watch for a reaction for the man, but he was soon in his won world of thoughts and fears. If he was going to work here, to earn a living, he was going to have to overcome his fear of using the mark. Maybe this will be a good experience for him? Well, that is if he is even hired.

"Marked by Nikali?" despite the question there wasn't really any hint of surprise in Ivis' voice or face at Ageru's revelation, "I would think that the Golden Dragon might be more up your alley, but your skills would certainly be useful here as well." Motioning for Ageru to step to the side with him Ivis spoke a little softer, "Marked as you are, I suppose you wouldn't have much problem providing some additional services besides just massage? Not for free of course, most any wanting something extra is willing to tip for the services offered, but it is part of the normal work here."

Ageru would nod as the manager talked to him. True as it was that the Golden Dragon did seem more cut out for his kind of talents he just thought it didn't suit him as much as the bath house. Though if push came to shove he was sure he could get employment there as well. Just thought he would check this place out fist, give them the chance before he would go there. He wondered if he shouldn't go the Golden Dragon and compare pay that he would get there from what he could make here. That would be the smartest thing to do.

Stepping aside when he was motioned to he kept his charming smile about him as he kept eye contact with man at all times. He nodded at the question, a silent yes, before confirming it with words, "I would." A little extra on the side wasn't bad at all, not to mention he would probably preform them anyways, extra pay or not. "In fact, I would be willing to do more than massage." he nodded at his thoughts, "It would be fun to lean what makes this bath house run so well." and he was being honest. He would do anything he could including extra services, whatever they may be, to really get a since of how this place ran and how people interact here.
