Hi Everyone,

My name is Chad, nice to meet you.
I hope you are doing well and at least trying to enjoy life.
Ok on to the other stuff.
Guess I'll start off with my RP experience, well I grew up with Dungeons & Dragons primarily the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. I have not ran any but I could if I needed to. I also have experience in Rifts, Shadowrun, GURPS, FUDGE (Not sure if that is what it is called anymore.).
How did I find this place? Well I searched and found some pbem.com or something like that and here it was and it sounded interesting to me.
What sort of RP sytle if my favorite? Well I enjoy all types to be honest.
What do I like to write about? Hmmm...Well I write fiction from time to time (aside from college papers...sigh)
My favorite thing about Mizahar so far is the site layout. It seems organized and the game idea is unique.
Nothing has fustrated me about Mizahar so far.
Now what do I expect? Well I would like to be in a game that lasts long, but I'll settle for whatever I can get at the moment.

I guess that covers the preliminaries.
As for myself well I'm a easy going type of guy, kind of low stress if you know what I mean. I used to be in the military so now that I am out and doing the going to college forever (Dang PHD programs). I hope to also get back in touch a bit with my RP since I have not done it in a while.

Hey Cade!

Nice to meet you. Thanks for posting an introduction so we have an idea who you are and where you come from. I remember most of those tabletops, but I never played FUGDE... though it sounds oddly familiar.

Anyhow, if you have any questions, let us know.. we'll help you any way we can.

And as for how long Mizahar will be around... I can't speak for anyone else, but my last partnership on a gaming venture lasted 17 years in the form of one of the top Dragonlance muds on the net. I only shut down after WOW killed our Playerbase.

I'm stubborn, persistent, and know that at least one of the developers (Tarot) makes me look tame in comparison with his mad computer foo and stubbornness. He never says die... ever!

So, that being said, we'll be around a good long time. I can't promise 17 years, but I'm sure we'll still be posting this time next year.. and the next... and the next... etc.

I was browsing the races section. I was wondering if it would be alright to play a Akalak/Konti mix race for a character. If so I will work on hashing out a character as soon as I can and get it up and running, hopefully by the end of the week.

We are definitely here to stay. Nobody knows what the future holds, but the motivation is there, and Mizahar is a long-term project for all of us. Enjoy your stay!
