Update! The Quest Core has officially been set up to present small side quests and opportunities for players, this in turn creates chances to do favors that will further enhance the process of building a relationship with Ricky.

Below you'll find a fully detailed write up on the purpose of it and how it works.
The Quest Core is a component that resides in the Plotnotes and is used to create opportunities and chances for players to engage with small and simple plot ideas, that in turn create threads with miniscule adventures or purposes as a job or task is performed. Said jobs and tasks are usually simple and the description for them is generally brief, as they can be related to larger plots at work if chosen to do so. However, while these may turn out to be odd jobs or small time favors that is all they tend to be, there is no simple idea that will provide bigger rewards as there are plots that can do this instead. This Quest Core is also tied to the Relations Core, found in Page 2 of Plotnotes, as the side quests/favors can add and even multiply the amount of Relation Points that are gained in a Relation Tier.
These tasks are generally for faster improvement with the Relationship between characters, but in some cases there can also be another small and simple reward given depending on the level of difficulty the quest and the performance of the character in the thread. While simple rewards like tokens of appreciation can be given, there is also chances that your character might be able to learn something new. It can be a new skill or be a specific lore that is passed on, usually something that's relevant to whatever occurs in the thread. Participation in these type of quests is easy, generally they're posted right up in the Quest Core for those to see, so all one needs to do is wait for the thread connected to that quest to pop up and if they can join if its tagged "Open". If its tagged "PM to Join" then simply pm the writer (Me in this case) and ask if you can partake in the quest, if the amount of slots for participants isn't completely filled or the thread hasn't already carried out too far then the person may in fact be able to jump in.
Reference Guide to the Quests/Favors:
While there are jobs that are timestamped, some may not have a specified timestamp. These jobs are "Time Constraint" and instead of taking place on a specific day, become available to do for only a limited amount of time. The job/task in that quest can vary as can the reward bonus, and depending on what the difficulty is set on it may even have a bigger impact on that Relation Scale as you claim more points. There is also the chance that a task or favor may pop up in a thread, surprising the player and their character with an opportunity to take a chance to improve their relationship with the quest giver!
Note: Further updates to the Quest Core may come soon, as it is an idea still in the early stages of development. Later on more may be added to make this a more fun and interesting OOC concept to participate in.
