Appearance: Severus is always either a male Human or Symenestra. When human he usually inhabits a mature body with short, silvery hair. As a Symenestran his looks vary as widly as the race does usually due to the limited resources of Symenestra bodies.
Born Dra-Sosa he, formerly a she, was born a half Symenestra on their mother's side. Her father a grotesque villain of a human who had raped her. Like all half Symenestra on their mother's side she was born without certain Symenestran abilities. When her mother moved them to Kalinor, for protection, she was branded a stain on the gene pool from the moment she arrived and none of her Symenestra comrades would ever let her forget it. However her brain, her learning ability was large and she sought to prove to her people that while she might not be able to scale walls or produce potent venom she could help them. Again and again she was shot down from doing anything meaningful with her life.
And one day her mother was impregnated by a full Symenestra male which, of course, meant only one thing. Her mother would die. Her mother the only person that had ever loved, or even liked, her. Her mother would not even accept trying to have the baby prematurely. In a heated argument Dra-Sosa left Kalinor and made her way toward more civilised places. She did not find many. The Symenestra were not the most liked race in all of Mizahar. She spent many years in a dangerous state of drifting barely surviving until she was caught by a band of slavers and sold to Sahova.
She worked as a slave on Sahova under a very queer Wizard. He studied the potential uses of the Void as a storage for Corpses. She mostly fetched him stuff but, in all honesty, the Wizard had succumbed to one too many Overgivings and had gotten himself an irrational fear of normal skill tones. He rarely left his lab and often bathed his bodies in tomato juice to tinge them reddish. The Wizard, who was sane enough to realise people were starting to talk, decided to hire Dra-Sosa as his Apprentice and official go-between for the 'Normies' as he called them.
So Dra-Sosa learned Voiding from the crazy Wizard nad lived under his tutelage for many years. She developed and honed her skills in Voiding performing research of her own on the side. The week before her Wizard Exams she performed a particularly unique experiment. She pushed the Wizard into the Void and recorded how long until she could no longer here his screams from This Side. She passed her Exam and continues to work in the old Wizard's lab. No one has ever asked her what happened to him. Probably because he hadn't produced anything worthwhile to Sahova in any years.
Not long after she became a Wizard she started looking into Nuitism. She had realised that her life was painfully short for the amount of work she had left to do. When Amaryllis told her she had a perfect male Symenestra for inhabitation Dra-Sosa jumped at the chance. She became everything she ever wanted to be. She wasn't alive any more of course but this didn't bother her as much as she thought it would.
In honor of becoming a Wizard and from becoming a full Symenestra she decided that this new start was worthy of a big change. Her loathing of her mother's final decision and the rest of her life she decided that from now on she would be a man always and that her name would be the same as the man who had helped to get her here, Severus Solomon.
