2nd of Winter, 513 AV. Late afternoon.
After returning from the bazaar Severus entered the White Swan inn and sat at one of the empty tables, haven't eating the day before he was starving. He definitely needed food before venturing into the woods outside. He called someone over that appeared to be a waiter and ordered some lunch, handing him 5 GM to pay for the meal.
He leaned back in his chair while waiting on his meal to be brought to him, this sure was a change from traveling the roads cooking deer and other wild animals over a campfire. Was
rather relaxing, too relaxing. As soon as he ate his food he would grab his gear and head out into the woods.
He needed to familiarize himself with the woods and other various surroundings close to the city, especially if he planned to be a hunter or a mercenary. As it would make no sense to know literally nothing about the surroundings and apply for a job that requires at least partial knowledge. It wasn't long before his meal arrived, and in almost the same amount of time he engulfed it.
Thanking the waiter for the meal he got up and proceeded to the front desk, he asked the person currently in charge if his items had been delivered from the bazaar. The person replied saying the items were already placed in his room for them, that they arrived a short while ago.
Severus thanked him before proceeding up the stairs to his room. Opening the door he found all the things he purchased neatly arranged in the sitting area, his armor and quiver with arrows attached to the mannequin, crossbow lying beside it. He grabbed his armor and quiver off the mannequin donning both. He also went to his bedroom to grab his backpack, should he find any wild game to kill he could possibly skin it for its hide and meat to sell.
Slinging his backpack over the should opposite the quiver is on he walked out of his bedroom grabbing his crossbow and hurridly running out the door shutting it swiftly behind him. Rushing down the steps out and the door he ran down the main road heading towards the gates so he could finally get into the woods.
He reached the gate and stopped, asking the guards for directions to the Bronze Woods, they pointed him north and off he went. Eager to test out his brand new crossbow and hopefully find a few deer to skin for its leather.
