Aylasa Abyss Deep inside the caverns of the Aylasa Caves, where the light does not reach, there is a particular section of the caves that lead further down below. Dubbed "Aylasa Abyss" by the few brave adventurers that dared to venture inside. They speak of howling monstrosities crawling the cave and the atmosphere feel like the very air is flowing with twisted life. A person sensitive to Djed-flow such as mages will feel immense amount of ominous aura just oozing from the caves. One adventurer said that when one take the first step, one can hear faint ominous voices echoing from all around them. These voices won't stop though if one covers one's ears, the voices will be dampened much like normal sounds. As one ventures deeper into the dark cavern complex, stranger phenomenon will occur such as the appearance of large salamanders slithering through the corridors with glowing bio-luminescence body, bats raining down from the ceiling, and most horrifyingly, the very corridors and walls seem to distort and change, as if intending to trap the explorers. From the few ventured inside, fewer survived, and one reported witnessing a flow of red glowing gas hissing out from the walls and the gas formed... a twisted face of some sort. That adventurer immediately turned around and ran for his life, he had been lucky to escape. Pass all of the horrors, one can find a particular large circular cavern-room with dark corridors marring the walls, each leading to parts unknown, to a room full of treasures or certain death. It is said here one's suicidal journey will finally be rewarded... Even with all its dangers, some still hold interest in exploring the Abyss. Why? Because of the supposed riches it holds. Rumors of great treasures and artifacts buried deep within, kept safe by the creatures and remote location. If one wishes to journey within, one must be prepared to face immense amount of danger.
