I do believe I would be that word.

You know, the one most people just read over and don't give it a second thought but some people can't help but notice because...dammit, it looks like it's spelled wrong.

And some people will just shrug it off as a typo while a small handful sit there and agonize over it because they are too stubborn to google it to find out if it actually is spelled correctly or not. Finally those that give in find out that it IS correct, but that it's some unfamiliar accepted alternate spelling. They then are completely underwhelmed with the answer and wonder what they just wasted time doing when they could have been watching cat videos instead.

I'd probably be the forward, written by some celebrity or something; obnoxiously long-winded, a little bit pretentious, definitely boring, and almost entirely unrelated to what the book is about in any way at all.
