However, he can also be rather moody. He is haunted by the death of his wife and child. He has the charisma characteristic of a great leader, but does not see himself as one. He is quite a free spirit and although he does enjoy being around friends, family, and clan greatly, he also seeks out time alone. Ethics: Ghedan's ethics are basically dictated by the Drykas culture. He believes that life is sacred, he is devoted to his family and clan, and holds to the seven laws. Likes: Music and theater. Character History Pre-Creation: Both of Ghedan’s parents were killed while off hunting. There bodies were never found, and the cause of their death is unknown. As a result, he was raised by the rest of his family. He was given his father’s silver-white fox as a remembrance. He developed an early affinity for taking care of animals and a strong animal magnetism. He was chosen by a dun strider mare, Qwinn at age 13. He then received his windmarks in the pattern of a fox as a second remembrance of his parents. At age 19 he fell in love and married a 18 year old woman named Ysmia. They were married for 2 years before Ysmia died giving birth to their first child. The child died as well. This event has haunted Ghedan ever since, but he has not allowed his sorrow to interfere too often with his continued living.
