Once the sky darkens, and Leth stares down to Mizahar, Auriga shifts into her Ethaefal form. Her horns curl towards the back of her head, the tips pointing up at the sky. She grows considerably in height, now standing at 6'3", and weighing 120 Ibs. Her skin lightens considerably, gaining a silvery sheen common to children of Leth, and her eyes are a deep indigo. Her hair lengthens, growing into slight curls.

Character ConceptAt heart, Auriga is a rather energetic and curious person. At times she is very stubborn, her curiosity and caution often clashing in various situations. However, in order to uphold the reputation of her race, during the night, in public, she will keep up the facade of 'calm, wise, solemn and reserved', which privately she finds very amusing.
She views her fall to the mortal realms rather resignedly, though sometimes her time is spent looking longingly at the sky, often during Leth's time. Along with her devotion to Leth, she is rather fascinated with Morwen, and tries her best to be respectful to the other Deities.
Character HistoryAuriga fell from Leth's realm into Mizahar, landing in the sea off the north western point of Taldera. Her fall was swift, body batted about by the wind as she tried to curl up, eyes closed, in an attempt to shield herself. She fell into the ocean, sinking down at an alarming rate, attempting to swim back up to the surface, to air and Leth's gaze.
But she was not left to drown. Heralded by a swarm of bubbles, a figure cut through the water smoothly, making their way to her with a few strokes of their arms and legs. Hooking an arm around her back, they made their way back up to the surface, dragging her along with them.
Breaching the water, Auriga coughed and spluttered, attempting to take in the fresh oxygen as swiftly as possible. Her rescuer appeared to be a human male, with short blonde hair and stubble. She didn't get a chance to get a good look at him, as soon he was making his way through the choppy water to a ship behind them,
The Silver Horse.
As she was brought in deck, the majority of the crew stopped and stared at her, most likely at her strange appearance. One brought her a blanket, which she carefully wrapped around herself, while the others began talking in a language she did not recognise.
Eventually, a scholar who had found it convenient to travel on the ship, took Auriga with her to their cabin. There they had a good look at her, and recognised her as an Ethaefal, having heard stories of her kind before this trip had begun.
With no where else to go, Auriga stayed with the scholar for the rest of their journey, the destination being the city of Avanthal. She was taught Common and Vani, the latter she recognised from her past life. In the scholar's room was a map of constellations, and she chose her name from one, to use in place of her True Name, known but unpronounceable.
Once they arrived at Avanthal, she made the city her home, able to fit in during the day in her mortal form. She was fascinated by carvings, and soon began to learn the art, starting with carving small pieces of bone. She completed her first carving in this manner, a small bone pendant in the rough shape of a spiral, which she keeps to this day. Later on she dabbled in sculpting, taking an interest in the great works peppering the Sculpture Yard.
At some time between then and now, Auriga was invited into the Skyglow Hold. Of course, it was made easier that during the day she took the appearance of a Vantha, and had been part of the hold in her past life.mUpon receiving the invitation, she was elated, and promptly accepted, and has made her home in the Hold ever since.

HousingLocation: Avanthal
House: 1 basic 20x20 Arvinta in a Hold with a hearth, bunk, chest, chair, and small table.
Each Arvinta consists of a communal meeting or sitting room. Then there are private rooms for couples, and a common sleeping/living room for all the children. Visitors are often given a private room, while a couple will move in with the children to make extra room. Some of the larger, more expansive Holds with wealthier families have spare rooms in their Arvinta or special guest quarters when people move from place to place visiting. Holds often have common areas and craft cottages in buildings attached and are always made of solid stone. External buildings are often built from ice and warmed from within by special braziers that conduct heat into the room but do not melt the thick ice walls. A Hold may contain multiple Arvintas and might hold upwards of a couple hundred people.
