Anna was facing the man behind the bars, her expression not exactly its same prideful and arrogant self but rather the cold visage of a researcher. Her natural humanity cited the one time she had killed someone, remembering the nightmares that still came from it. Could she stand killing another? It wasn't like she could really avoid such a thing on Sahova, standard procedure was to use slaves as test subjects. Besides, she was a Wizard, she stood far above normal beings in the natural order of things. That was just what she needed to believe, its what she needed to believe.

The man looked up at her will hollow dark eyes and the sorceress felt a slight pang of sympathy. Much like the girl she had knifed a while back this man had probably possessed a home, a family and loved ones. It was hard, so very hard to actually distance herself from other sentient beings in practice. Thinking about it was easy, while the actual act of killing someone when looking them in the eye was much more difficult. For Kouri it was easy, she was a child, life and death were just distant concepts to her at the end of the day.

"You here to end it?" The man asked, his tone somewhat raspy.

The tall sorceress pushed back her broiling over emotions and gave a slight nod to the man, her words seeming to be inadequate. Anna had to wonder what kind of horrors the Nuit had subjected him to, as he just bowed his head and gazed towards the floor dejectedly. He seemed so apathetic regarding the possibility of his own demise, it actually made her want to do this less and less. Still the Sorceress concentrated upon her res and slowly moved the liquid towards him.

Any screams of pain that might have emerged from his throat were reduced to wet gurgles as the purple liquid forced itself into his throat and began to spread quickly though his body. More res was drawn, it being moved to cover his entire body with the substance and some of it seeping into his pores. Anna felt the pleasing sensation of res being drawn, a light moan escaping her lips unbidden.

The man fell to his knees, wet hacking noises escaping him as he tried to remove the res from his lungs. Anna knew from firsthand experience what it was like to be invaded by res, how painfully intimate it was to take a piece of another person inside of you. As it was Anna opted to end this and just discover what she needed to, an idea that had come to her after Kouri had branded her cheeks.

The tall woman willed the res to begin to form into another shape and form all through the mans body, liquid water being cooled to a solid by the air as the transmutation took place. A last gurgling scream was all that came from him as his body literally flash froze, everything from his insides to his flesh being covered in unyielding ice. A crystal like statue was the only thing left of him, kneeling and with his face a mask of permanent pain.

The rush of casting was overriding her moral issues with having just killed him, she felt so very god-like for having done that. She had never actually tried to see how far she could use the Ice Para-Element, but this result was rather interesting. Perhaps if she worked down from here she could yield the same results Kouri had accomplished on her. The applications were opened to new possibilities, manifold in their nature.

Anna turned her attention back to Kouri, who sounded like she was having fun playing with the other two prisoners. With a last glance to the frozen man Anna opted to walk over to Kouri, her motherly smile back on her face. The ghostly child had taken control of the red head, who was sporting a few lovely new bruises. Anna had no doubt Kouri would play with the girl until she was sporting broken and shattered limbs. The sorceress lightly patted the ghost of her borrowed head, res generating on her left hand.

"Well I'm happy you are having fun with her my love, but if you insist why don't you hold up one of her hands for Mommy and she'll show you what she can do with Ice." Anna said, already moving the small amount of gathered res to the air before her.

If Kouri complied Anna would shape it into a small disk like shape, not larger than her own outstretched hand. The sorceress would the step back just a little bit to ensure she didn't get blood on her good robes. The heat of casting provided such a lovely buffer between her emotions and what she was doing at the moment. Of course, she'd probably be feeling this later as sleep tormented her.

The tall woman shaped and cooled the outer layer of res until a disk of solid ide hovered in the air before her. Anna was not worried about this hurting Kouri, the child could not feel the host's pain after all. With a twitch of her finger Anna would will the disk to start spinning, its edge razor sharp. About half a chime later she sent it speeding towards the girl's wrist, the action would cleanly severe it easily, before shattering along the far wall.

"Kouri dear, do you remember when you drew Mommy that pretty picture in the Prairie? Why don't you draw it again? Look, your doll is even giving you something to draw with, such a good little toy." Anna said, gesturing to the bleeding stump.

"Don't worry about breaking her, dearest, remember after she is done you have a shiny new doll fresh and waiting in the corner of the next playpen. Mommy will show you her fun trick on her, its a new magic I haven't shown you before. Its very fun." The sorceress said, smirking as she leaned back against the opposite wall and watched her adoptive daughter at play.

The pain, the suffering, the immense amount of fear, though the woman was unconscious, her very soul projected those sensations, Kouri felt them all and she loved every second of it. Aaah~ It's okay, you make me happy! That should make you happy, reddy! The ghost girl cooed mentally, apparently trying to ease the girl's soul, but one that was not a simpletion would know it wasn't the case, the phantom girl was simply playing around, torturing the prisoner both physically and mentally.

Her mother went back to her, she must be done with her toy, Kouri heard the familiar sound of ice freezing from the other cells, perhaps Anna did something horrible to him through ice, she was curious to know, "So, what did you do? Freeze him? Stab his heart with ice?" She giggled through her host, her mother appreciated the power of ice now, good, perhaps mommy could make her something beautiful out of ice, a enchanter dagger or a moving ice sculpture. The Vantha was fond of anything fun made of frozen water. Kouri lightly swayed her head when Anna patted her, her host's eyes figuratively shone as they gazed at the translucent res.

"Uhm, okay! It's not my hand though," She held up the redhead's left hand, waving it around for a bit before holding it still, "Come on, show me!" An ice show, how exciting. Kouri had never seen Anna do something magical with ice before, this would be her first experience. The ghost girl commanded the host's mouth to form an 'o' in awe, her eyes examining the ice-disk, Kouri wanted to comment on it but she held her tongue for now, best not to interrupt her mother when she was concentrating.

The ghost girl didn't even close her eyes in reflex as she watched the spinning ice chakram waltzed through the air, cleanly mutilating the host's arm, her body screamed in extreme pain, but it fell on deaf ears. "Woah!" Kouri drew back the bloody stump of an arm, watching it closely like an excited child studying something new, she raised her head when Anna spoke to her, adorably nodding her head, "Okay! You want me to draw with this? Ehehe~" She immediately began to work, treating the bleeding arm as if it was one big brush. The ghost girl faced the cell wall then trailed the arm over it, trying hard to create an image, but the spraying nature of the blood frustrated her.

"Aaaaargh! Be still!" She screamed at the stump, actually hoping the blood would listen. Of course, it didn't, she would have to do with what she got. The phantom girl began drawing again, first, she created the crude sketch of a girl with long hair, her own image, adding two small crimson dot for the eye and a crooked line for a smile, then she draw a taller figure beside it, representing Anna, Kouri tried to mimic Anna's robe to the best she could, but the blood flow was depleting, "Aaaah! No! I'm still not done yet!" Kouri could feel the prisoner's soul succumbing under death's embrace, it would not be long until her soul left the body, which means Kouri had nothing to grab hold, ending the possession. With haste, the ghost girl gave her twisted work of art its finishing touch, a heart symbol between the two figure, representing their love, "I'm done, Mommy!" As soon as she said that, the host's body fell down.

A few ticks later, white mists flowed out from the corpse's eyes, nostrils, and mouth, the mist then gathered together, forming into Anna's adoptive daughter, Kouri happily gestured to her 'painting' on the cell's wall, "Do you like it? I'm sorry it's bad, the blood was spraying everywhere!" Kouri promptly vanished from her location, appearing before Anna, "Let's go to the next one! Show me the fun trick!"

Anna watched Kouri as she worked on her macabre drawing on the wall, using the host's lifeblood like a paint brush and sketching crude images on the cell wall. It melted her heart just a tad, not much, but more than most would get out of her. The ghostly child was indeed that at her very core, just a regular girl with a stunted grasp of real morals. She wasn't doing anything wrong in her mind, she was just playing and having fun like a normal girl might. The key difference was that unlike a normal girl, Kouri's playing could end fairly brutally for those involved in it.

The completed image drawn in blood was certainly childish but Anna could tell that Kouri had put her little ghostly heart into making it. It was heartwarming really, though the crimson stains on the wall were rather disturbing to most no doubt. A twisted relationship this was, the Chaon Sorceress with a powerful ghost claimed as her daughter. Anna wondered if Kouri might actually influence her as much as the other way around. Perhaps having a child to keep happy would mellow her a little, who could say at this early stage.

"Oh, my precious child its lovely. I know you tried your hardest, and it was hardly your fault your doll didn't cooperate. I love it all the same. Lets see if your other doll will be more cooperative." The Sorceress said, leading Kouri to the next cell.

The blond woman was still curled up in the corner, poor thing was probably still trying to block everything out. The sorceress regarded her adoptive daughter, giving her a motherly smile and pondering over her daughter's love of ice apparent. Then again she had cited queen Morwen as being her patron once, so that was hardly surprising. Her abilities were certainly frost like, Anna noted with a pang of rage shooting through her chest at the memory of her cheeks being branded so.

"I turned the man into an ice stature, froze his whole body. If you like, I can make your new doll a pretty ice statue after I show you my trick." Anna offered, holding a hand through the bars.

She focused upon the center of her body where her Djed was gathered, willing it to move along her body. Her fingers were curled upwards and her grey eyes were focused upon a singular point above it. The sorceress was planning to bridge This Side and The Other Side, moving her Djed to empty that point in the air above her hand. All the while old words dripped from her lips, the incantations that would allow her to keep Focus.

"Sutla Gug. Gug Sutla."

"Sutla Gug. Gug Sutla."

"Sutla Gug. Gug Sutla."

She held focus on this singular point for thirty straight chimes, before a tiny black dot formed in the space above her hand. The felt it form before she saw it, her Djed being sucked from her body to maintain the tiny bridge between This Side and The Other Side. She focused on stabilizing it before willing it to slowly expand, feeding it more and more of her Djed to fuel its increasing hunger. This was made a little more difficult due to her reimancy use earlier, but it was manageable.

Once the shifting black vortex was about the size of an outstretched hand Anna opted to speak to Kouri again, an explanation as to what exactly this was she was handling. Likely the ghost had not yet encountered the discipline of Voiding, it would be a good idea to familiarize her with it. After all, even a ghost was not immune to the power of being voided. Which would certainly be unfortunate.

"This, Kouri, is a Portal that leads to another dimension called the Void. Its very far away from where we live, farther than you can even imagine child and its large as well. Why don't you go to your new doll and have her stick her hand inside for a bit, then pull it out and we'll see what happened?" The sorceress suggested, nodding slightly to the woman in the corner.

Anna was actually most interested in knowing how the Void effected the human body, she knew it was cold just being near it. However she was unaware as to exactly what kind of damage prolonged exposure to the Void itself could do to human beings. However Kouri was the perfect assistant really, she could possess test subjects and force them into the needed situations with taking any damage herself.

[The Prairie]Consequences[Kouri]

At last, Kouri noticed something changed within her, she felt... free as if chains that had been holding herself down were finally broken, how odd that this came from binding herself to Anna. No more pesky moral obligations, no more strict etiquette expected from her, no more judging eyes of people scrutinizing her nature, with her mother, she could be herself. Kouri wanted to slap herself for being so foolish, she forced herself to be something she wasn't, this Snowsong wasn't the gentle singer she used to be in life, no, this Snowsong was a phantom that could strike primal fear in the hearts of men. If those people rejected her for it, let them, she wanted to see how their body squirm as she froze their puny mortal bodies to ice.

Her new mother certainly accepted her, no matter who or what she was, the sorceress saw her powers as gifts, not as curse, she treated her like her own daughter, not as an abomination that must be slain. Kouri used to believe that being a child meant everyone would be kind to her, a very flawed viewpoint on her part. No one cared if she was a child or an adult, all that mattered was power, people pushed her around once, jeering at the strange phantom girl, but once she gathered enough might to actually kill someone, even the Knights placed a bounty on her head. Imagine that, a group who pride themselves on 'justice' and 'honor' placed a price on a little girl's head, Anna was right, there were few things lower than Syliran Knights.

Mommy was happy with her gift, of course she would, her serpentine hair hissed in approval as the ghost girl giggled, twirling with a strand of her snake-hair, "I'm glad you like it," She turned her attention back to the next cell, "Okay! Let's see about this one!" The ghost girl excitedly floating beside her mother. This yellow-haired prisoner was all curled up in the corner, seemingly trying to delude herself that it was just one horrible nightmare, Kouri made an "Awww~" like a child who saw a frightened puppy all alone in the rain.

Glancing away from the blond prisoner for a moment, Kouri saw the frozen sculpture who was once a man, all locked in a strange position, Kouri tilted her head as her form suddenly disappeared, reforming right beside the frozen male prisoner. "Eeeh? You made this?" It was a rhetorical question, Kouri believed Anna but she couldn't hide her astonishment, the ghost girl then poked the statue with her materialized right hand, "Cold! Haha!" unlike a normal human girl who would jerk her hand away, Kouri hugged the statue instead, pressing herself close to feel the ice spreading throughout her soulmist body.

"Hmmm~" A mischievous idea spawned in her mind, Kouri grabbed the man's head with both of her hands then miniature sharp serrated tendrils spawned from the tips of her fingers, these tendrils then spun with great speed, sawing the man's scalp from the outside. Splatter of ice and frozen bits of flesh flew everywhere as the ghost girl hummed a cheerful tune, after about half a chime, the man's head was gone, "That was fun!" Perhaps Anna would appreciate her little 'fireworks' show, or in this case, iceworks show.

Kouri blinked back, returning to Anna's side, "Show me the trick!" she gingerly jumped up and down. Her large crimson eyes kept watching as Anna focused, the ghost girl waited with baited breath, even her serpentine hair went silent. After thirty ticks, a strange tiny black dot formed above her mother's hand. "What's... that?" Kouri felt a pang of deja-vu, she saw this before... somewhere, but ultimately scoffed it off. In truth, Vick once tried to distract her attention through the same tiny dot when they first met, but the ghost girl didn't notice it until the last moment. The black dot slowly grew in a circular shape until it created a black mirror of some sort, "..." Kouri couldn't explain it, but she felt unease at the portal, the phantom girl reached out her hands to hug Anna's right arm, scooting closer to her mother, "W-what's that?"

The ghost girl had to concentrate to comprehend Anna's difficult explanation, it was in Common and the Vantha was not fluent in it. She generally understood though, this 'black mirror' was a door to a strange placed called the 'Void', connecting it even though it's far away. Kouri certainly didn't want to go there, not on her own volition at least. Anna asked her to possess the blond prisoner then put the human's hand inside it, still, even with a host's limb, Kouri wasn't relieved, "B-but, Mom-..." The ghost girl wanted to protest, but she felt a beat in her soul, her mind rewriting itself to compel her mother's words, she didn't have a say in the matter, Kouri suddenly changed her attitude and nodded, "Okay, Mommy".

She wasn't as enthusiastic, but Kouri still blinked to the curled up prisoner, the poor human trying hard to ignore her presence. Unlike before, the ghost girl's crimson eyes were cruel and cold, looking down upon the human like she was filth, the serpents on her hair hissing dangerously, "Disgusting..." She whispered, this doll wasn't fun at all, at least the redhead could speak to her, this blond doll just mumbled incoherent words. With a fast jerk of her right hand, Kouri reached out then her small fingers gripped the woman's throat like a vice, chocking her. Her materialized limb also began freezing the woman, but Kouri wouldn't kill her, when the blond girl's eyes rolled back, Kouri released her, letting the girl dropped pitifully to the ground. She didn't waste time, the ghost girl already deforming herself into white mists then she literally entered the blond through her mouth, nostrils, and eyes.

Once inside, Kouri's soulmist reached to grasp the girl's astrals tightly, heedless of any discomfort she would cause, this female was just an object she would use anyway. After about ten ticks, the girl opened her eyes, the horrified look replaced by the cold eyes of the ghost girl, "It's done, Mommy," She stood up then walked to the ominous portal, Kouri took a breath as she commanded the host's right hand to plunge itself into the portal. She would hold still until Anna commanded her otherwise, though with the Void's arctic-temperature, the limb would begin freezing to the point of frostbite.

Anna had smirked slightly as Kouri had sheared off the flash frozen corpse's head while humming a little tune. The girl's twisted innocence was probably her most endearing quality; she was so very adorable in a way only a powerful morally stunted child could be. Anna idly pondered that Kouri could have made a rather good wizard once upon a time; though considering her possession ability the tall woman figured there was no reason the girl couldn’t become one. Perhaps the sorceress would continue her dabbling into Spiritism, after all now that she had Kouri she had a ghost for a long term partner.

Kouri seemed rather nervous regarding her portal to the Void for some reason, then again the art could be very intimidating to one unfamiliar with it. Anna had gained a decent grasp of how the art of Voiding actually worked, and even she still had some reservations regarding the art. The tall sorceress held the Portal in place; the small Portal was somewhat comfortable for her to hold in terms of Djed loss. It still required a steady stream of her vital energy, but it was much more manageable. Anna suspected she could make it even bigger but now was not the time for such tests.

The most interesting thing Anna noted regarding Kouri’s mannerisms was her switch in mood; she tried to protest the request but then changed her tune to acceptance. It seemed odd, she had not phrased it as an order but yet the girl seemed to act in the same way. Perhaps it had to do with how the Oath was fulfilled in the signer’s own judgment. Kouri was a young girl, thus when her mother requested something it was taken as an order. At least that was what Anna assumed; it made some degree of sense to her.

She moved to possess the cowering woman, going inside of her and then moving her body after a little bit of time past. The sorceress watched the girl get comfortable in the body for a little bit before moving to carry out Anna’s suggestion. She hesitated for a moment before placing the woman’s arm into the portal and holding it there. The tall sorceress smiled to her adoptive daughter, pleased by this action and by the girl’s obedience.

“There now Kouri, that’s a good girl. See? Nothing for you to be afraid of.” Anna said, smirking.

The dark haired woman would let Kouri keep her host’s hand in the Void for five solid chimes, maintaining the Portal and an easy pace and feeding it more of her Djed. It was much easier now with a bit of experience under her belt, no longer taking a massive effort just to open a portal and keep it open. The woman idly wondered exactly how much damage this exposure to the Void was doing to Kouri’s host, mentally shrugging as she figured she’d find out soon enough. After those five chimes she nodded slightly, figuring that would be just enough time to see how much damage the Void could do to the living.

“I think that is long enough my daughter, take out her hand and let’s see what kind of damage was done to your doll.” The sorceress said.

After Kouri would remove her hand the tall woman would will the core of the small Portal to fill with matter, triggering an immediate collapse. The black vortex vanished from sight and a slight ripple existed in the air where it had once existed, as reality returned to normal. No trace of existence would remain except for whatever damage was done to Kouri’s host.

[The Prairie]Consequences[Kouri]

Postby Fubuki Kouri on February 23rd, 2014, 2:45 pm

Every family had their own positive and negative aspects, Kouri's family would be considered ideal by common standards, a loving father and mother, and good education in music and etiquette since she was little. However, if there was one thing worth pointing out from Sora, her true mother, was the Vantha woman's exaggeration in the importance of elegance, obedience, and attitude. Sora was a loving and gentle mother, but she didn't appreciate if her daughter started to disobey and throw tantrums. The woman didn't let Kouri expressed her negative emotions so she could learn to control it, she repressed them instead.

If Kouri was a good girl, she would be rewarded, if she did something naughty, she would be punished, the strict education turned the Vantha girl into an obedient, polite, girl, worthy of being a nobleman's wife, but in turn, seeds of disobedience and desire of independence welled up inside her heart. These seeds started to bloom when the girl died, lost her parents, and forced to wander alone, her eyes forcefully opened to the horrors of society. Combined with the emotional stress of being a ghost, something snapped inside her, turning her into who she was today. Of course, the lessons her mother taught her already branded themselves in her mind whether she realized them or not, she always regarded requests as orders, especially from the people she respected, Anna being one in this particular case. Due to the Grand Oath, she couldn't disobey the sorceress so her mind rewired itself every time she wanted to protest.

"Uhn..." She simply nodded when Anna tried to comfort her, her host's body staying absolutely still. Kouri couldn't feel any pain or other sensations from the host so she didn't know what happened as the host's hand started to freeze. The hand then developed the early stages of frostbite, the skin took a blue coloration, as time went on, it got worse, the frostbite developed into the muscle and nerves tissue, without a healer, the hand would never function normally again. After five chimes, Kouri pulled out the hand, "..." The girl wasn't surprised to find the host's hand became stiff as ice, the skin chipping here and there, as she forced the hand to move, she could hear something snapped from the hand, probably the frozen muscles. Kouri brought the host's hand to show Anna, "Here, Mommy..." Her voice audibly relaxed when the portal vanished.

The ghost girl then waited for Anna's next request, but in her mind, she hoped Anna wouldn't tell her to do anything with the scary portal again. An idea came to her though, "Mommy, how about you turn this one into a statue like you did earlier? I want to see what it's like to be frozen solid! Ehehe~" If she was a normal Vantha girl, it would be a suicidal request, but this wasn't her body, she was merely a passenger.

[The Prairie]Consequences[Kouri]

The dark haired sorceress looked in fascination at the frozen limb, grey eyes noting the chipped and cracking flesh with great interest as this was her first time witnessing the effects of Void exposure to a limb. When she ran a hand over the brittle flesh she pulled away after barely a tick from the cold present, really it was just another indicator of just how very hazardous the Void was. As Kouri moved the arm sickening cracking sounds were heard, no doubt muscles and bones were cracking and breaking. Idly she wondered if the host could even feel that pain, considering how very frozen the limb was at the point.

Kouri made a request, for Anna to flash freeze her host as she had done to the previous slave and it took a bit of pondering. The process of flash freezing was more in depth than just impaling them on an ice lance, as it involved coating them inside and out in purple translucent res and transmuting it to ice. This translated into require more res for the action, and while Anna was not exactly in the danger zone she was still rather wary after having maintained a Void portal, no matter how small for five chimes. Then again, with her comfort in reimancy she could afford to push herself beyond most normal amounts.

“Is that what you want, my child? Very well then, put her in a position you’d find pleasing to look at and I’ll make a pretty ice statue for you.” Anna said, that dark smirk playing at her lips.

Once Kouri got into the position she wanted Anna would tug at the tapestry of her being, feeling waves of pleasure crashing upon her mind as she willed res to push out from her body. Translucent purple liquid formed on her flesh, the lifeblood of reimancy and the thing that controlled the elements. The substance would begin to creep outwards from her body and towards Kouri and her host, snaking along the ground menacingly. Once Anna was certain she had generated roughly the same amount as she had before with the man she cut off her generation, pushing aside the urge whispering in her mind.

The res would begin to work its way up the woman’s body, covering it before forcing itself into her body through every opening available. The liquid pushed past her eyes, into her nose, down her throat and would slowly start to infect every part of the woman’s form. She wouldn’t be able to breath properly soon enough as res coated her throat and lungs, every part of the blond haired woman was coated in the substance. Anna even forced some of it into her pores and hair for good measure to make certain that she got everything.

The dark haired woman then willed the res to transmute, moisture that formed being cooled to extremely low temperatures and Djed being drained to fuel the transmutation. Soon after the woman would be nothing more than an icy statue, frozen in whatever position Kouri had wished to make her remain in for eternity. Anna was quite sure that the woman’s death had pretty much been instantaneous since her brain had also been frozen through. If nothing else, she could say it was something of a mercy.

Anna felt a little drained for all the casting, enough so that she wanted to lie down and rest for a little while. Not only had she bound Kouri to her, but now she knew a few new interesting tricks regarding magic and its use. Kouri in turn had gained a new mother, one who would give her affection and accept her childish nature, despite how amoral it was. It had been a very productive night for the pair, no doubt the beginning of many more to come.

“I trust you like her Kouri? In any event, Mommy needs her sleep now as magic has a way of leaving one tired. What do you say we head back to the Quarters? I suspect we both need some time to recuperate after tonight’s play.” Anna said, gesturing towards the pathway that led back the way they had come.

"You will? Ahahaha! Yay!" Kouri raised both of her host's hands upwards in glee, not caring if she caused excruciating pain from the host's damaged right hand. It wouldn't matter anyway, this expendable creature would die once the cold embrace of Morwen coated her whole body. "Uhm, position, poses, oh, I know!" Kouri giggled as she twirled once, examining the blond girl's body, truly, clean this human up and feed her, she would turn out pretty, alas, her fate was to be Kouri's ice statue. The ghost girl pulled at the girl's astral, shifting herself so now she was adorably kneeling on the ground with both of her legs heading diagonally to the sides, Kouri gave Anna a smile, signaling she was ready.

She watched in awe as Anna exhumed her translucent purple magic, Kouri idly wondered on how a human body produced these 'res', perhaps it was similar to how spiritists could produce soulmist. The host's body lay absolutely still even as res began covering her from the feet, creeping upwards to her legs, waist, chest, neck, and then forcing itself into her eyes, nostrils, and mouth. Due to the phantom girl's invasion, the body lost all reflex reactions, it simply knelt still. The ghost girl hummed a tune inside her mind, eagerly waiting for the moment to arrive.

At last, her vision started to be distorted as if she was looking through a kaleidoscope, ice covered the human from head to toe, Kouri tried to move a limb, but it was stuck solid. The ice statue was complete, Kouri could feel her hold on the host declining rapidly as the host's soul started to leave her body, after a few ticks, her soulmist had nothing to grab on and white soulmist poured out from the woman's orifices, forming into the phantom girl. "Woooow~ It's so pretty!" The child ogled her present, circling it to examine the ice statue from various angles, using her materialized fingers to poke at it, "She's dead now, Mommy, I can't possess her anymore," Anna probably knew, but Kouri just wanted to confirm it.

The ghost girl leaned in and hugged the statue, she started talking to it, "You know..." Her right hand trailed over the statue's frozen cheek then to her chin and neck, "You are pretty, I like you, but..." Her tone became lower in pitch as her serpentine hair hissing ominously, Kouri turned her neck to Anna, the angle far more extreme than what a human could do normally, almost 180 degrees, she smiled at her mother, "I have Mommy now, I like her more," She turned back, "And you are just a doll, you are too big for me to carry so..." Kouri released herself then her right hand reached out, four thick serrated tendrils spiraled along her arm then joined at her hand to form what looked like to be a ghastly serrated blade. The ghost girl raised her hand then she lashed at the statue's neck with her tendril-sword, sounds of ice splitting and frozen flesh rending could be heard as the statue's head fell clean off its shoulder.

"Hmph..." With a disgusted huff, Kouri vanished then appeared beside Anna. "Alright, Mommy, let's sleep together," She held Anna's right hand with both of hers, leaning her body close, "I love you..."
