Nodding her head in acknowledgment, Reven bit her bottom lip and sat back on her haunches as she began to process Caelum's instruction. The feline didn't know how she felt about handling herbs that could scar her or make her sick. And the last thing she needed was to be stuck on the privy again. Deciding to deal with the risk, Reven made a compromise to do only what was necessary and handle only what she knew was safe. Other than that, she would gladly entertain the children if need be.
Before she continued with the task at hand, Reven was approached by a familiar woman with a concerned expression. "Oh! Lyn'nise," She greeted. "My stomach? Yes, it's feeling much better, thank you for asking. I'm grateful you came along when you did or else things would have probably gone a lot worse..." Plunging the tool into the soil, Reven squinted up to the Konti, trying to block the sun from her eyes. "I'm not throwing up anymore, no. It's just taking more time than I thought to get over it. I'm still baffled that I got sick... But thank you for your worry."
Giving the Konti a warm smile, Reven chatted with her for a brief moment before sending her on her way, returning to the dirt. Aah... If there wasn't anything more relaxing than the smell of fresh herbs in the morning, especially mixed with the scent of crystal, fresh water so clean, it made Reven's throat dry with thirst. She loved being out in the herb garden. The scents that wafted through the air from the herbs were enough to relax her mind and body. It was easier for her to be open and playful when in this area. Reven didn't know why but the herbs flicked a switch in her that made her want to act like a giddy child. Holding it in to preserve her dignity, and the other staff members' sanity, Reven grabbed her tool and began digging away into the dirt, making holes in the places Caelum instructed her to. She would be at this for a little while, there were still so many to dig...
Even so, Reven found it amusing watching the little Konti girl go about helping as she was. The young girl was so innocent, Reven felt a tiny urge of motherly concern swell up inside her, wanting to hide the child away from the horrors of the world just like her parents should have done... And with that thought in her mind she quickly shoved it away, her attention fully focused on stabbing the dirt, pulling it up, cutting any stray roots, then repeating the process...
