Stroll through the Markets (Corvo, Open)

[Zarriiph]

The Crimson Fang Zarriiph smiled broadly as Zuzana challenged him. Quickly going over what he knew about fighting with his fists. He took off his bladed gauntlets, and set down his morning-star, and bolas. Then he set his shoulders and said happily "Let us begin" He began to move in a circle of decreasing radius to the right. Always coming a little closer, and a little closer. Keeping his eyes locked in hers at all times. All other thoughts fading from his mind. There was nothing else... Only her... Only... her... He began to feel his heartbeat in his ears, and he smiled at the sound. He was prepared for battle. Zarriiph knew his weaknesses, and his strengths. He knew that Zuzana probably was more skilled then himself. So he decided that a counter striking plan would prove most effective. He settled into position, moving slightly, still to right... very slowly. And he watched for the slightest sign of aggression.

Golden eyes watched closely as Zarriiph moved, setting his weapons down, of which he had quite a few, it was almost startling how many weapons this man actually carried. Of course, the weapons didn't phase Zuzana much, so long as the man before her stuck to the "Unarmed" clause of the practice fight.

"Let us begin." Zarriiph said, a broad smile remained planted on his face as he began to move around Zuzana. The Kelvic shifted, only slightly as Zarriiph moved, her knees bent slightly, her fingers curled in slowly, her fists moving to either side of her hips. The breath entering and leaving Zuzana slowed, her ears perked up to listen to Zarriiph as he moved, his feet shifting the earth as he circled her, Zuzana turned with him, her eyes locked on his, a small smile formed on her lips.

"Why isn't he attacking?" Zuzana's eyes flashed from his face to his feet then back again. "On the defensive already?" Zuzana teased, her muscles relaxed slightly, she was going to have to make the first move, that put the cards in her hand. The Kelvic closed her eyes for a moment, before quickly shifting, golden eyes snapping open as she crouched than sprung at Zarriiph. Zuzana's right knee was aimed for his torso as she pushed off from the ground while her left arm reached to clock him in the jaw. Zuzana's left leg was used to push herself off from the ground, bits of dirt and rock were displaced with the sudden motion.

Then Zuzana did something strange for a human, she bore her teeth, a loud growling sound erupting from the back of her throat. Her face was twisted and contorted, her nose was scrunched up, her eyebrows were pressed together, her lips curled up over her sharp teeth. Of course Corvo's guess on what Zuzana was, was correct, she was indeed a Kelvic, this was just more evidence to add to Corvo's case.

The Crimson Fang As he was circling he went slower and slower. Watching her look of confusion at his plan to counterstrike. He listened in amusement as she taunted him. Petty insults were a mere distraction at this moment. He could not, would not be distracted. After her comment he watched her body relax, and her eyes close. She was preparing for something, he could feel the tension build in the air. As she crouched Zarriiph raised an eyebrow in surprise. Why in Myri's name would she jump? Jumping leaves you no footing, no contact with the ground. But then again she could be doing some odd pre-war dance... "ah well" he thought "I will know shortly..." Then she sprang, leaping into the air knee pointed outwards in a direct line to his chest. Hands flailing at his head. Looking at the flying woman he first thought what a strange look she had on her face, what a powerful leap she had, and second realized that he should step to the side her attack would be fuitless. So as she came toward him he took a quick shuffle to the right. Which effectively put her in range of a kick, or punch, or something. And even better relieved him from receiving what looked like a blow that would have left him gasping for breath. He grinned, this wasn't so unlike armed combat! The principles are identical, just modified to a different weapon. As she landed he leapt behind her with a roar, and brought his right fist down with every ounce of his power. He aimed it at her mid-back, hoping that she wouldn't fast enough to escape. As his first blow ended he brought his right hand up simultaneously dropping his weight to his knee, and striking with his left elbow, aiming across the back of her head.
