It was another day started in the same process of training Ricky had pushed himself in, the warmth of Syna's kiss only dulled by the eversweet moisture of the sea that cooled the bay made his venture a relaxing one, it actually felt refreshing on his skin as he walked along the rugged coast to arrive at the spot he practiced shielding only several days ago. Believe it or not he actually found an amazing sight to await him as he not only found that spot, but the same transparent hue of a royal blue sheen somehow remained over the portion of the very same boulder he'd practiced on. Oi'll be damned! Dey can last a while den! But of course it hadn't been all that long since he was gone, but the fact his work lasted a few extra days meant that he certainly had gotte better.
Convinced that he was ready to give it another go, hopefully this time he would cover that whole side of the boulder as planned, Ricky rubbed his hands together and felt the rough cold surface of the rugged rock. The shield practically phased of course when he did so, as its intended purpose wasn't really meant to protect anything after all. But of course he could only wonder if they would be able to block anything, other than magic and any foreign Djed. He thought about the amount of work it would take this time, upon resuming practice, to fully finish covering his intended area. He felt rather confident that he could finish it today, yet still remained wary of the fact that he had quite a large portion left to cover.
So with an eager mind ready to start Ricky took a seat on the same cool rock just like before, and then closed his eyes as he began to ease into a more relaxed state of mind. He thought of his wife and his son and how happy, how complete, he was when he was with them. He smiled as his eyes remained shut, already in a bit of a peaceful place as he soaked in the environment around him. The sound of the waves, the feel of the breeze, and the smell of the sea all filled his senses as he took in deep breaths. Soon after he started to find the place of zen he needed to be in, and then found himself in touch with the passageways of Djed that channeled throughout his body. He felt alive. Whole. Deep within his interior he felt as though he were a vast ocean, calm and still as nothing dared to disturn his waters.
It was there. There he found himself in touch with his magic, the abilities he harnessed now awakened once again as he channeled his Djed from his core through his arms. Once he opened his eyes and focused on the unfinished project he had, he felt ready to get started on another round of shielding.before the rest of his day started.
