1st day of Fall.Late Afternoon,510 AV. The sight before your eyes almost can take the breath away, all green and vivid and strong colors lighten your view and your soul.The mighty journey indeed had been long enough for her and Syn, she still couldn't believe what she had done.Diane felt ashamed of herself and her acts, but had no other choice, as for now had to find a good place to hide for a while before the guards from Syliras will come chasing after her. "Man...I'm starting to hate this! Why the heck didn't I stay and pay for the damned water?" said to herself with a sigh, with Syn galloping slower, yet getting further from Syliras Gates towards a total new area with grass and tall trees around.Everything seemed so alive around there, that almost scared her.It gave a strange feeling and chills down her spine,looking from a distance she could at least tell it appeared as a Cave.For now Diane and Syn kept their distance, she made him stop and got down taking the small barell down too. "Wow..this place is amazing.And look at all this grass and the trees all curled up to the cave.It's a nice shelter." with a bit of amazement in her tone of voice, Diane smiled at the surrounding and thought in giving it a shot in staying there for a bit. It seems abandoned for a while,I wonder when was the last person around here?SO far so far..maybe no other person will pass by here, it's a long way from the city gate anyways and they won't even think the "water thief" might be here..Hopefully.! thinking to herself and sat down on a near rock as her deep blue eyes looked upon the sky.

A loud sigh left Johns lips as he moved from tree to tree. He was sent once more to look for plants but he was not having any luck nor any real hope inside he would find useful things.

He stood about the normal height for a human, light blone hair matched his lighter blue eyes stood out the most in his plain tunic with black cotton pants with black boots. He did not have anything else other then his tan colored pack along his back which only held some food, eating knife and flint and steel.

He was far from the city yet still in safe enough lands not to worry of anything or anyone attacking him as he saw the Aylasa Caves. They were used rarely but were a safe place to stay inside if you knew what to do or at least that is what he was told for the city did use them to move the city in case it was endangered.

His eyes looking towards the sky once more, the clouds from the outer ranges were slowly building showing signs of rain. Another sigh left his lips as he knew he would not be able to make it in time as he made his way towards the caves. It would be hard to see in the dark but he would try not to enter to far.

He knew he could find something to make a torch yet for now he just moved towards the caves clueless about the female or her reason for being out from the city.

Diane was lost within her thoughts,Syn stood up near her moving from time to time his ears all curious or swinging his tail.Her eyes were looking all over the new place,when at a small distance some tiny flowers were so colorful and nice,that she got up slowly and touched gentle with her finger having a smile on her face.Even her eyes color changed to that light violet shade with a bit of green lines,just around the iris. However,suddenly Syn become more agitated and made some sounds,making Diane to make a quick turn and saw a young man walking by.Her heart begun to beat faster,thinking he might be after her..even if,he didn't had any uniform as a Guard, she couldn't take that chance. "Who are you..?!"said a bit louder and stand up,immediately the color changed into a deep orange nuance and made some steps closer to Syn,still fallowing that man with her eyes as she didn't knew what he was and why did he passed over by this place.

A child stood near in front of him, ten or so feet if one took a guess as he did not stop but kept walking towards her and her mount. Her hair was long and black with what looked like blue like tint at the end, dark skin wearing a coat with a red blouse and dark black pants. The mount was held down by bags of sorts but of a black breed. He did not see any weapons upon her yet even if he did he would not take a second guess to defend himself.

"Asking me who I am is rather rude without saying who you are child." He said without yelling as he moved closer to her. Unsure why she was here of all places but he was more on guard for the simple fact she was out here without a weapon. It told him she could have been a mage yet he was not ready to attack if she did not first.

He stopped before her, just feet from her and her black mount yet he posed no weapons upon his body as well. Just a pack on his body but that could have held any number of items that she did not know of. Yet he wanted answers before anything else as the scent of rain came about warping around his senses.

His light blue eyes kept upon her as he looked at her. Who would make the first move of peace or war? He was unsure of her and was more on guard for the simple fact he never saw her face in the city. If he had then he would be fine but with her asking him that question it meant she did not see him either.

Diane stood looking at the man before her,eyes met for a second changing fast from light color to darker green and then to a vivid,deep purple color.He made a few steps closer to her,saying that she was rude for asking him who he was also calling her a child.She turned her face from him for a second,looking over Syn and with a small sigh,Dian'e face got back to him. "I am not a child! I might be older than you..I am 18.Plus,I..didn't meant to be rude."replied to him with a calm voice, as she stepped a bit aside and sat on the near rock from earlier. "I am here..let's see,changing places?Running from home?..I think it's a little bit of both.I..just didn't saw anyone around here and this place seemed abandoned so I ..was surprised in seeing you around here.I thought you were a Guard or something from Syliras.Not that I did something or anything.." continued Diane playing a bit with petals of a small,colorful flower still feeling insecure and nervous about his presence.She didn't knew exactly why he was around there and if he had some business in that area,maybe he was really just passing by. "I am staying here only for a while..need some time thinking over some things.Uhmm,I..am Diane." said with a warm,gentle smile and with a tone of voice rather calm and friendly.Yet,on the other side didn't want exactly you become actually friends,but then again had no intention to make him an enemy either.Indeed,it felt a bit odd because didn't had to much contact with a lot of people,so couldn't trust just anyone.But,decided to give it a small chance./

He was not sure what to think of her as he looked upon her and her mount. He was unsure why he called her a child yet paid it no paid as he took a step closer to eat looking at her in more detail. Her body was shorter then his and her clothing looked more along the lines of ruined here and there yet nothing that could not be mended if she wanted to. Her mount if it was hers had bags along its back meaning she was indeed moving about yet why in this area he had no idea.

“Why are you here? Diane, if that is your real name..”

His words were harsher then normal yet for some reason he was on more guard this season then last. It could be the fact he never saw anyone here off the main path and all he knew she could have been making a lie of her name.


A sigh left his lips as he thought of what he said and shook his head. He was being rude. He knew this but could not take back his words as he looked at her.

“You can call me John. I am from the city within the castle near here. If you are lost then you should make your way to that area as the knights will be able to help you.”

His words were softer and not holding any type of attack as he looked at her, his own body stopped not coming nor going any closer to her.

She took a quick glace at him,being a bit intrigues by his words and the way he acted towards her making her feel as a threat.Diane patted Syn in a gentle manner and sighed for herself,with the color of her eyes still in that deep orange color. "yes,my real name is Diane.I ..don't expect you to believe me either,that's your choice,John " said with a serious tone of voice and put away her long coat,letting him to see her long-sleeve blouse with braids and her black,tight pants on her. "I..just need some time for myself..and No worries,I will leave tonight.Sorry to intrude on your "space",it really wasn't my intention at all."replied to him once again,still being insecure of her words and actions,really didn't want to make mad this guy.His words seemed so harsh as if she did something to him,especially when he mentioned the Syliras Knights.She couldn't go back there,after she stole the water..she for sure,will be put in jail. Diane took a deep breath and let her eyes to look around and then at the sky,smiled warmly more for herself and then sat down in the grass once again.She begun to play with the flowers and seemed lost in her thoughts,in her own world..so harmless,as her expression sadden and with a slow movement she brushed her silky,dark hair with her right hand.

Markus really should have spent more training with horses. Then he would have avoided being knocked off his horse while out searching for some god forsaken water thief or whatever. The young squire had been a part of a small group who had volunteered to go look for the girl. They had spread out to cover more ground and that was when Markus had had his little accident. The horse had just continued in the path he had been riding and when Markus had regained consciousness shortly after, it was getting dark.

If anything, then one thing Markus knew, was that staying out in the wilderness alone, during the night, was extremely foolish. So his right hand was constantly resting on his blade. His left hand was missing the weight of his usual shield, and he felt oddly naked without its protection. Markus looked at the distance and realized he would never reach Syliras before it was completely dark. He would have to find a place to camp for the night.

Markus suddenly stopped walking and his hand grabbed the hilt of his blade more firmly. He heard sounds. It was still too far away for him to be sure, but it sounded like voices. Bandits? Was the girl a part of a larger group? Had he stumbled by their hideout by mere chance? Markus moved in closer to see if his suspicions were correct, but as he got closer he heard their conversation clearer and it seemed like the two didn't know each other. When he could finally see the two, he noticed that the girl looked a lot like the description they had gotten on the thief. He smiled a little at his own dumb luck. Now, he only had to find out how to proceed.

"Hey!" Markus yelled as he walked closer to the two. Wearing his worn leather armor under some chain-mail. His right hand had moved away from the hilt of his blade. "Boy is it good to know you're not alone out here. Would you two mind if I joined you for camp tonight?" Markus asked with a smile. His right hand ready to make a swift movement for his blade.

[Diane]

It gotten rather silent between those two,and the tension up in the air was heavier than ever,she was searching to find something to get distracted.Diane's eyes looked again at John and sighed a bit,then turned quickly at Syn as he was patting the ground with his foot and made some small noises. She stood up and patted his neck and brushed his hair gently,his ears were moving slightly back and forth.He felt something,it was nervous. "what is it boy..?What are you hearing.." just then another voice made Diane's breath to stop for a second and froze on the stop,turning her orange eyes at the new person,asking for a camping tonight. It was a knight from Syliras,all sorts of thoughts were crossing Diane's mind,she slowly reached the bow from her horse,but decided that it wasn't the right time for it.She had to wait until later,for sure couldn't stay for to long there.She had to move and fast. Diane passed her hand through her black,long hair and smiled faintly at the new person and tried to find her words.the hell? did he found me? is this an ambush from John? I..don't think so,it would be to obvious..damn it!! the heck I will do now?I gotta be extra careful,I just got to get pass through this night. thought and then took some water to drink,her throat felt dry.After a short time she turned to the Knight,turning her eyes into a deep blue,with vivid purple nuance. "Sure..I don't mind.Anyways I will leave very early in the morning.my horse is tired.But,may I ask how so a Knight,is walking around these parts?" asked him away and then looked down at the flowers once again and smiled a bit sadly at them.

John did not say a word to the girl but he looked towards the knight. Yet his eyes saw the rank and spending his life around knights he knew he really was a lower squire then anything yet he did not say a word about that.

He waited for the new commer to come closer before John voiced his mind at last. His head turning to the young human male not sure if he did see him about the city or not.

"You know, I don't mean to sound rude or anything but most knights state there rank and branch before making requests yet I am not with her nor do I plan to make camp here. Going to make my way back to the city and hope I don't have more work to tend to."

He said letting his voice carry to the man as he started to walk towards him. If he did not stop him he would walk by and make his way back to the city even if he was weaponless but weapons were the least of anyones worry if John lost his temper and for some reason he was in a darker mood then normal.
