Meeting a Ghost (Marcus)

12th Day of Spring, 514 AV

Ahri walked in Bronze Forest, occasionally stopping to hear the sounds of birds, and when she caught a quick glance of an animal, even if common. She hadn’t seen much birds in Lhavit besides the rare eagle that was trained, and not much animals. She kept walking, her legs still not yet tired, though she had been walking for.. how long?

She looked up, looking at the sun. Not too long, she guessed, and kept walking. After awhile, she got tired, and settled at a stump at a clearing. She leaned back slightly, then closing her eyes, and sighed. She should probably go back soon, before she was late for her job. She stood up, brushing leaves and dirt away, when her eye caught a dagger on a tree.

Her eyes checked again, and she walked closer to it, examining it, but not taking it out. Rusty and old. She frowned, and looked around, feeling nervous. Why she was nervous, she didn’t know. She concentrated, trying to find out any other auras besides her.

Of course, there was. She couldn’t tell it’s race, or anything, just it was something there. She bit her lip, and called, “Is anyone there?” She looked around, hand touching where her knife normally was, and cursed quietly when she realized she didn’t have it.

“I won’t hurt you.” She called out, nervousness in her eyes, as she took steps back from the tree, closer to the middle of the clearing. She couldn’t really hurt anyone anyways- she could aim a hard punch, yes, but she wasn’t known for her accuracy. She sighed, hoping she was worrying herself for no reason, but she doubted it.

If it was someone, she hoped he or she was friendly.

Marcus was doing his everyday activities. He was looking at the wildlife, counting the new plants that grew and even tormenting a few creatures when he got bored. However, today was a bit different. As Marcus flew through the tree towards his dagger he noticed a figure in the distance. “Tsk.. not another invader...” Marcus said, remembering from the last time a person got close to his dagger, “Is the dagger a treasure or something?”

Not willing to have someone close to his dagger, Marcus blinked towards the figure. “Ah...!” Marcus exclaimed in confusion. Long blonde wavy hair, white smooth skin and a smile on her face that seemed like it would never go away. “What is a woman like that, doing at a place like this?” Marcus thought aloud as he did laps around the woman, “Did you even come armed?” His question was soon answered when the woman looked as if she was reaching for a weapon, but failed to draw one.

The woman briefly stopped. However, Marcus was still floating around her. She looked around; her eyes looked as if they were searching for something. “Hmm? Did you spot something?” Marcus said to the woman. Then for a moment, Marcus was sure that the woman fixed her eyes upon him as he floated. This cause him off guard and caused him to blink away, like bird flying away when it's startled. Marcus thought it was weird, what mad it was was that she began speaking as is someone was there. Marcus wasn't too sure if the woman was referring to him, so Marcus did a quick search around the woman but found no one. Was this woman crazy, or could she see people like Marcus?

Marcus, who was still in confusion, stumbled upon a small doe during his search. “perhaps this will come in handy...” Marcus said with a smirk upon his face. Soon after Marcus's smirk melted away into a mist... “lend me your body...” Marcus needed to keep the woman away from the dagger. However, her eyes seem to house something “weird” and he wanted to know what it is. Assuming the form a doe, Marcus wandered towards the woman who was still talking to “someone”

Auras didn't lie like other things. Possibly she was becoming mad, but she doubted it. She looked around again. If there was something here, what could it be? She couldn't even tell the thing's race.. She looked around again, biting her lip.

What was it? It was driving her mad, honestly. "Whatever you are, just come out, alright? I dunno what the hell-" She paused when she saw a doe coming towards her. Odd. Hunters were here usually, and animals didn't walk up to her on her way here.

So why was the doe coming towards her? Curiosity, for some strange reason? She frowned at the doe. "Why are you coming up to me?" She murmured out loud, then sighed. She walked up to it, petting it gently, taking occasional glances at the eye.

Wild thoughts went in her brain, some not even making sense. She didn't know anything at this point, and she didn't even bring a weapon with her. Absolutely brilliant! She sighed, petting it gently. Was it possessed..? She frowned a bit more at the thought.
If so, what could possess things? Ghosts? It was a silly thought, part of her brain said, though she knew there were lots of magic in Mizahar, and possessing was one of them. "Uhm.." She sighed. She really was going mad if she was going to start talking to a deer. But if the doe really wasn't possessed, then she could just keep what she said to herself.

"So, how's your day going? Possessing does must be fun." She couldn't help adding the last comment, though the thing could probably possess her too.. She cursed. Think before you say something, she thought, sighing mentally.

Wearing the doe as a suit, Marcus attempted to act cute and coy. Marcus put his heart into his performance and hoped that it would lure with woman towards him. However, Marcus wasn't too sure his acting skills were very convincing. Walking towards the woman with a small little bounce with each step, Marcus gazed at the woman thought the moist black eyes of the doe. Although Marcus doubted his skills as an actor, his performance seemed to work. The woman began straying from her path to the dagger and approached him. She began speaking to the doe as he pet it on the head. Marcus couldn’t feel her stroking her fingers through the light brown fur of the doe, but he knew that he'd have to react in someway. As she stroked the fur, Marcus made the doe's head nestle into the palm of the woman.

The woman began talking to the dear as if it was a sentinel creature. Marcus couldn't help but think the she was a loon, so it was no surprised to him when she began speaking of possession. “This woman is nuts, she must have some sort of paranoia...” Marcus though to himself, “I guess I better dispatch of her.” Marcus continued his “cutesy” act and began hopping away from the woman, heading towards the woods. Marcus made the doe look back at the woman, with a look that says “Follow me. I'm cute!” Marcus planed to get the woman a bit lost so that he'd forget the location of his dagger, and perhaps using her for some... “entertainment.”

“I bet you'll be more entertaining than these common animals” Marcus said within the doe's mind, “let's just see how you react to... 'certain events'...” Marcus began scheming a nice little prank for the woman before he can let her go. Going deeper into the forest, Marcus stopped the doe in a small clearing. He then expelled himself from its body, allowing the doe to flee with only the feeling of panic and confusion. “Now,” Marcus said to himself, hovering above the ground, “let's get the started” Marcus used his soulmist to grasp a stick and began scribbling into the dirt. What Marcus drew were a few eerie symbols. The symbols ranged from evil eyes to unholy-looking scribbles. “You believe in ghosts right?” Marcus thought allowed, as he continued scribbling into the dirt, “let's see what happenes if you see this, heheh”

Ahri followed the doe curiously, and when she saw the doe flee, she laughed, amused. Scribbles covered the ground, consisting of eyes from evil looking scribbles and such. She looked down, using Auristics again. Something was there, and the scribbles kept going.
"Can you just project yourself? And yes, I mean whoever is drawing the scribbles." She was actually not sure she was inside or not, but she pretended she was absolutely confident. She tried to fix her eyes on the thing that was moving the stick.

She frowned, focusing on the being, trying to figure it out. She felt a hint that he was amused-( or she-). Why was he amused? She paused, thinking. Well, she did sound insane earlier.. Which was probably why. She groaned mentally, trying to focus more, but getting tired, already.

"And no, I'm not insane. I can feel your there, ya know.. Honestly, just come out. I'm done playing games. Please." Her eyes tried to fix on the thing again, but she didn't know if it would work. She bit her lip. If the thing didn't come out and instead try to tease her again..

She sat on the ground, her hand absentmindedly taking a leaf and fiddling with it, looking at the scribbles in boredom, her eyes looking at the stick, though she just wanted to close to eyes and relax a bit, and daydream. Or something.
