Ender sealed himself on Lessomm, but then was assaulted telepathically. Garine yelled and shooed the Irylid away. It was odd, something almost forgotten since leaving Fyrden. To be contacted telepathically by another Fyrdenese was almost foreign, now so used to only sharing communication of the mind with Miro. It was ironic, almost funny to the creature. When he was first bound he did not think he would ever get used to hearing the way people spoke on Mizahar. To be treated such a way, it made him upset, but not too much.
At least Lessomm apologized for his Familiar. Now in his natural form Ender could speak to the servant. He floated above the circle to get a better view. "Thank you Lessomm. I am sorry to have caused a problem, it was not my intention. I only hope that Garine does not cause you any serious trouble. Immature and reckless behavior can put your life at risk. You would be wise to teach him that same discipline you hold." That would teach the Gordios.
Miro however was not so indulgent of the distractions and delays. He wished to see his experiment progress, and would not accept anything more slowing the process. "Lessomm, you would be wise to tame your Familiar. It is your companion, sure, but Garine should be thankful to you. Thankful to me, and as well my Familiar. We three are responsible for its rescue from Fryden. If you can not work out its disciplinary issues, then I will. And I will accept no more distractions." Magic was serious business, and these interruptions could not become habit.
By the time the servant asked for help on Glyphing, the wizard nearly lost his composure. Another delay, another thing to keep him from his desired results. He might have been better off doing things himself. In fact, he considered doing so by now. "Lessomm, think back to our lessons. You need only make your own barrier. A barrier is tasked to confine Djed, to restrict it, guide it. Your runes are unique to you, drawn to your design. They can be anything, but I recommend harmonic shapes. Patterns and designs that create an unbreakable magical wall."
It was going to be a long session if the Summoner could not finish his Glyphing. Just a few barriers, as simple as that. It was not as if a failure to produce a viable barrier would cause the Summoning to fail, as the process was completely supplementary. Miro began to cast Res again and formed another plate. It was much like the current one painted on only smaller, and likewise transmuted to stone. The wizard took the book, pot of paint, and a brush from his bag and began to work on a circle of his own. He was not nearly as concerned with the stability of this one however.
Miro opened the book to the page on circles and took his inscribing paint and began to work on his design. He made the outer circle and coordinate fonts first, but then contemplated how to design the inner workings of the circle. He started with the minimalist design, a vertical line and a perfectly adjacent horizontal line. He deemed it acceptable, at least for now. As things progressed he would test these limits. Next came the coordinates, on the page of Zaiden it revealed them. Counterclockwise he entered them in the coordinate fonts, one, zero, six, nine, zero, zero, two, five, eight, three, five, eight two, one, zero, four.
