Retic's Journal
This book sits tucked away among Retic's possessions, unmarked and seemingly unimportant. He cannot remember the exact date he came across the leather-bound pages, but its earliest entries date back to his early childhood. Here he keeps a variety of things -- from fleeting thoughts to notes on observations and experiments.
Retic doesn't often find the need to write down personal thoughts and feelings, though it is not totally uncommon to stumble across a more confessional entry. He may record events, and perhaps his take on events, but this is primarily a collection of records for him to revisit when necessary.
