Aelaria stand at 5'7" long corset-braided red hair reaching to her lower back. She has emerald eyes and her skin is pale but has a soft rouge from her mother. She has a thin face, her extremities are muscular but lean and her torso is slender but strong. she wears a very drab brown cloak, while her outfit is otherwise simple black blouse with matching bottoms.

Character Concept

A young woman’s life and struggles as she tries to live up to her fathers sacrifice. Aelaria is the type of person who always stays true to her conviction no matter where they take her and help whomever she can along her way, especially if she feels they're being wronged. She always wears a 3 inch, cold-steel sigil around her neck (an heirloom of her fathers) as a constant reminder of why she works so hard. She aspires to become a monk of Xannos and explore the principles of magic as to honor her fallen fathers sacrifice. She has a strong sense of family and commitment as she only had her mother growing up in nyka but this permeates into all aspects of her life.

Character History

She was born in Sunberth and was raised until a young age. Aelaria was kept from the outside world for most of her life as an attempt to shield her from the injustices in the town. But kids will be kids and she escaped out the back door one afternoon while her mom was cleaning. within minutes she had made the mistake of getting lost and being the child she was asked the first person she could for help. She asked some rather unsavory fellows near the docks if they could help her get home. They instead kidnapped her and held her for ransom. While in confinement her kidnappers brought in a reimancer whom forced initiation on Aelaria. Her Father, a ex-nykan, went to the dock to try and request help to save his daughter. Luckily the nykan ships were in that day and he was able to rally some help.

Together the father and monks stormed the place where she was being held captive and attempted to rescue her. The reimancer, his initial job accomplished, turned to the oncoming nykans and released his powers onto them. The reimancer uses a strong spell and the father jumps in the way of the blast, protecting his fellow nykans. The monks then, without misstep, proceed to pummel the sorcerer into the ground. They rescued Aelaria from the kidnappers but her father was lost to her. When they returned to the house the monks explained the situation and after a couple days the mother begged if the could go with them to nyka as her daughter was now a reimancer. They permitted it and the family set off to new horizons and a hopeful future.
