Anna watched as Edreina followed through with the order she had been given, the water slowly being drawing a circular motion by the golden liquid. The sorceress’s grey eyes flicked occasionally to Edreina, searching for weakness of the spirit and finding a mask of concentration that filled her with slight approval. The task was a seemingly simple one however for one like Edreina it was obviously extremely complex in terms of tasks that her Res could accomplish. Anna’s eyes followed the motion of the res and observed any shakiness that might very well have been apparent, frowning slightly at the Test Subject’s lack of skill and noting there was much work to be done.
It wasn’t annoyance but a slight amount of concern Anna felt when she noted the hysterical way Edreina was throwing herself at this, a sob ripping through her. She was pushing herself too hard, if she kept going with this mindset could very well end up going into Overgiving. Anna cursed low under her breath and knew that she would need to end this lesson on reimancy early, though it irritated her that the other woman had poured all of her Djed out and this was all she could accomplish. Nothing else for it, the Svefra was superior in the realm of the Physical though the Meta Physical was seemingly alien to her.
“Enough! Stop Edreina, draw your res back into yourself and drop the attraction. If you push yourself like this you’ll Overgive. Trust me when I say you’ll wish to be back on that table if you do that.” Anna barked, gripping the other woman’s shoulder and giving it a slight shove.
“You can’t just throw yourself at it like that, if you are reaching your limits you need to stop. If you go too far you could end up a raving lunatic, or simply shatter your ability to function normally completely and just end up staring ahead in one direction for the rest of your life. You also did not hold your incantations up, which you should have done.” Anna said sternly, arching her brows arrogantly.
“You cannot let your magic control you, Test Subject 1A, not ever under any circumstances. You control it, no matter how good it feels or how powerful it makes you feel remember that you are the one who wields it. I’ve seen wizards that allow their magic to rule their minds, sad broken shells of individuals. Trust me when I say you do not wish to end up like that.” The sorceress finished.
Assuming that Edreina did stop the tall sorceress simple would flick her hair, snort, and then turn away from the red head. The tall woman would then climb up out of the makeshift bath, squeezing the liquid out of her hair unnecessarily. As she did this Anna began to lightly tug at the tapestry of her being, the Djed within her and push outwards across her entire body. A sheen of purple liquid covered every inch of her body within a few tick, the urge massaging at her mind but being pushed aside. She focused upon the excess moisture across her body and then willed it to transmute directly to air, drying her off rather simply.
The sorceress would glance over her shoulder at the Svefra, smirking down at her in that arrogant sort of way that was signature to the dark haired woman. When she spoke again her voice bore the quality of smooth honey, though there was something else there in her voice unfamiliar to her. Edreina had nearly messed up in an extremely grave manner, reminding Anna once again that the other woman was inexperienced. Really this whole affair was beneficial to the Svefra as Anna saw it, in her current state she was a danger to herself and others but with a teacher… she had potential. Real potential.
“Your cloak I took from you is over there. Use it to dry yourself off and tear strips from it if you want to bind your brand and needle marks for a bit. Hurry up, because once we are finished I’ll be taking you back to my room and leaving for the Common Labs for the rest of the day. I’ll be back this evening around the time I normally am.” The sorceress said, already starting to dress herself.
OOCRight, I think one more from you should finish this one up.
