Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

Spring 33th AV 514
The sun was going down slowly and the weather was colder. S'Essy was sitting and was just staring at the sea. She was smiling and was enjoying the sight and the winds from the sea. The winds were like the sea's waves. But it was time, she spent at least a bell here or even more. She stood up and nodded towards the sea."Thank you! As always this is the best!" She said in Kontinese like anyone could hear it. But surely Laviku could.
She turned around and walked back slowly to the streets. She was about to head home but she changed her mind. She wasn't tired and she didn't feel like to get back to the Pearl House. She rather took a walk on the streets and check out the places more and she might get an idea what to do exactly.
The idea hardly came to her. There were many oppurinities to choose from. She didn't want to go to another park though. Then she saw an akalak and a konti who were going in to a tavern. They were surely having a dinner together. A great thing would it be if she wasn't alone.
That thought stucked in her head. Maybe if she would just go in and start to get know of others. For Avalis, she had a Call and she didn't know how to answer exactly. She knew Riverfall was the place where she had to search. But really? Searching in a random tavern would be the answer. That would be dumb. She went on.
She wasn't watching where she was going. She was just staring at the inns, taverns, shops and official buildings. She was talking to herself in Kontinese. "Why can't my mind let it go? But I really wanna do th..." But she bumped into someone. She stepped back and shook her head and started to apologize immediatly in Common. "Oh.. I wasn't watching where I'm going, I'm sorry!"

If the day was lovely, the young Human couldn’t know. It was probably just paranoia, but he was quite sure that his sight was getting just worse by the day. That damn experiment with magic left him partially blind and he could only see shapes and colours, everything else appearing as a blurry mess. Still, it seemed that the night was coming.
Stefan knew that he should be in home, but he simply couldn’t. The thought of being on his house, bored, even though he was sick, drove him insane. That’s why he strolled around the city every day, even if it was cold, raining or if there was a hurricane capable of destroying the city. He would have strolled around the city, too, just to get out from his house.
Still, he couldn’t enjoy the walk as much as he wanted to. Something he loved about Riverfall was the fact that the city was, using not so poetic terms, scenery porn. Some of the most beautiful sights that the young bard ever saw in his life came from this city. And he was deprived from it.
It was quite sad, and actually, he became somewhat depressed after the event, but with the help of certain girl, he managed to get through it, more or less.
However, that train of thought was interrupted when he bumped into someone. He knew that he was going to do it sooner or later. At least there weren’t any misunderstandings, since the woman was apologizing instead of yelling at him. It could have been much worse.
“No, no, it was my fault, don’t worry, lass” he said with a polite smile “I’m... somewhat distracted... actually, I was about to take a drink to clear myself up” he said chuckling “Could you help me a bit? I don’t know where the tavern is, though is fairly new; it’s called Alements. Do you know it?”

She relieved that he didn't yell at her. It would have been awkward for her if he had done it. In fact he had smiled and said sorry to her too. S'Essy smiled back at him. And what a coincidence he was distracted too, and he wanted to drink to clear himself up. S'Essy felt a lucky for a bit and wanted to ask if she could join. But then she realized it would be too pushy.
Alements. She hadn't hear of that place, although it was new. Not like she was familiar with taverns at all. She rarely went to any. She didn't know how to help him now though. She looked around and spotted the tavern she have seen some moments ago. She took a wild guess that this was the place. But why would she just take a guess rather than asking him or someone?
She looked back at the man and now she noticed something odd. His eyes, his look were strange. Like he would be blind or at least like someone couldn't see a thing. Strange pupils he had. She wanted to test him. She pointed the place at her back. "Is that the place you are looking for?"
But she was sure that there was something wrong. She couldn't stop herself from asking. She had to help after all to everyone, anytime. "Something happened with your eyes? I'm a healer if you need help."

Stefan wasn’t sure about where the gal pointed, but thanked her nonetheless. He would have complimented her about her looks, as he always did, but it simply felt odd to do it without actually knowing how she looks on the first place. It was like admiring a nice painting with your eyes closed. But she was kind, so a simple “Thank you” had to do it.
But then, she said something about her eyes. He couldn’t say anything about it, since Stefan couldn’t see himself into a mirror, but his pupils were dilated, leaving his brown eyes with huge black holes on them. And then, immediately after, the woman revealed herself as a healer. Now this was too good to be true.
He was a musician of the Velvet Curtain, and such place had a especial service for the workers: a healer visits it the brothel weekly, to make sure the workers were clean, both physically and mentally. It just took Stefan to feign he was a prostitute to receive the services of the healer, and since he was friends with some of the girls, nobody said anything.
He spoke, though with a reluctant tone “I had a... incident a couple of days ago and my eyesight resulted damaged. I can’t see quite well now...” he made a pause to clear his throat, as if to make a pause “You’re really a healer? I could use some help right now...”
He couldn’t help but feel a little suspicious, but that was mostly Stefan’s paranoia. It was no secret that he was on a very vulnerable state, and for an incident that happened in the early Spring, he had to watch his back. And again, it seemed to good to be true. He grabbed firmly the handle of his rapier, just in case.

Then she was right, she knew there was something. Though she didn't feel happy about it. These were the times when she wished that she was wrong. But she couldn't do about it but help somehow. Eyesight damage is a little complicated and she sure that she can't fully heal it but she was quite sure that she can ease it and make it heal faster.
His question was a bit confusing but he couldn't see well so she assumed it's because of that he didn't trust that easily. She smiled and with a calm tone she answered. "It will be okay, let me prove it that I am a healer." And with that she placed her hand on his eyes. She took a breath and focused on Rak'keli's power.
She focused on his eyes and healing, that she could do it. Then she took away her hand and let him to open his eyes. She hoped that at least he could see her now clearly. "Okay, can you see me now? Can you see my face, my hands my body?" She asked. "Probably ... erm... the things behind me are still blurry." She was sure now. She had to learn Common more because it was annyoing.
Also now she could check him more out. He was a tall man and a handsome one. By the look he was not the strongest but he was in a good shape. Suddenly she felt enough confidence in herself to ask him. "I don't want to disturb or anything but.... can I join to you?"
