(This is a thread from Mizahar's fantasy role playing forums. Why don't you register today? This message is not shown when you are logged in. Come roleplay with us, it's fun!)
The player scrapbooks forum is literally a place for writers to warm-up, brainstorm, keep little scraps of notes, or just post things to encourage themselves and each other. Each player can feel free to create their own thread - one per account - and use them accordingly.
Down on the west coast They got a sayin' "If you're not drinkin' Then you're not playin'" But you've got the music in you You've got the music in you, don't you
So I dreamt of Mizahar last night. It was one of those scenes between sleep and waking up, really short, but interesting.
It featured Gwin and a handful of others entering a lighthouse to lend a hand with some kind of work there. Inside, it turned out to be a big cavern and Evalin came to greet them. To their surprise, she walked over a deep chasm in the rock by literally treading thin air and saying something about how good it felt. Then she inspected them one by one. When she came to Gwin, she seemed mildly surprised and asked “Why aren’t you insane?” And Gwin wasn’t sure what she meant, but eventually said “Maybe I was once.”
And that was it. The dream also featured an annoying loud boy who reminded me of Timothy. A little bit.
On another note, I’m thinking about making another vlog wherein I actually answer questions. So if there’s anything you always wanted to know about Estrellir, Gwin or me, please speak up and post here!
Q1: How important is power to Estrellir? What sacrifices, if any, would she make to become more powerful or influential? Q2: Do you have any plans for Estrellir to leave Kenash? Q3: What would be modern-day Gwin's favorite music genre? Q4: What are Gwin's biggest motivations to meet with Evalin in 'Gather my Children...'? Q5: Will Gwin ever completely forgive Timothy for trying to steal her violin?
What is your favorite word? What is your least favorite word? What turns you on? What turns you off? What sound or noise do you love? What sound or noise do you hate? What is your favorite curse word? What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? What profession would you not like to do? If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the pearly gates? How much do you love lasagne?
The turn on/off questions just mean what you like and don't like. You'd be surprised how many people took it the wrong way >.>
So the Eurovision Song Contest is in full swing here. Out of sheer luck I got assigned a Saturday shift at work, so I'll even be at the finale as part of the staff!
On another note, I've been focusing on uni for the past few days. I currently don't owe any replies (sadly), but won't post IC until Thursday.
"Gone, gone, gone beyond, gone altogether beyond, o what an awakening, all hail!" (From The Heart Sutra)
On a (probably) related note, a guy I used to play with as a kid got into an accident with his motorcycle and died. He was my age. I haven't seen him in ten years, but it's still strange how people cease to exist and suddenly there's a big hole of nothing where they used to be.
Activity will be sporadic to nonexistent until June 30th. It's finals week (and then graduation). This also goes for grading and boxcodes requests. I'll try and get a reply in to every thread before I disappear to study. Also might sneak in a reply here and there to unwind, but no promises.
So, I've been going through your scrapbook (Like a creepy stalker except not quite, except completely like a stalker) and have two comments, or rather two comments that I feel are important to put out there.
A) Oh my goodness Eurovision! It's like totally one of the highlights of my year... which is possibly a sad indictment on me as a person
B) Question for your character - do you ever see her settling down and starting a family of her own? Within the Konrath dynasty, of course. It'd be interesting to know if you've got any plans for her on a domestic level, as well as plans to do with a wider adventure.
Anyway, good luck with finals! I'm sure you'll do well and I'll have my fingers crossed for you.
