AppearanceRace: Jamoura Gender: Male Age: 210 Years old Birthday: 24, Spring, 304. Birthplace: The Spires. Appearance: Grash stands 8' tall, at about 560 lbs. He has very wide shoulders and long arms, and his thick black fur is well groomed. He is almost always smiling and his eyes are a deep brown with specks of green. Character ConceptGrash loves knowledge. It's what drives him. He wants to learn all that he can. He is a very happy Jamouran, always smiling and laughing at peoples jokes. He doesn't like fighting very much, although he has always seen the need for violence in certain instances. Grash wants to become a great philosopher, so he studies day and night about peace, war, religion, and matters of the heart. However he also wants to be a historian so he reads as much as he can about the past of Mizahar. History Grash was born in the Spires to a loving family. He lived a playful life with all of his friends. Running around the forest floor, chasing bugs and playing games.
But as he neared 100 years, he began to take interested in why he did things. Why did he enjoy playing with his friends? What was the point of chasing bugs?It seemed that everything he did, needed an answer as to "Why?" in his mind.
Because of this, he stopped playing with his friends. He wasn't sad, but he became a little lonely. When his parents took notice to him being alone all of the time, they became worried that he was missing out on his social skills. They decided that he would go out with Garal, with his group of young adults on their wilderness trips.
Garal took these young adults to teach them to survive if they were to ever be lost. He also taught them the necessity of having others with you. Solitude was dangerous. Garal was a very wise man, and it seemed that whenever Grash had a question, Garal had the answer.
This led Grash to have more and more questions. As he got older, Garal wasn't able to answer any new questions. "Why is there religion?" "What is the purpose of war?" "What is life?"
Garal spoke with Grash and his parents, and told them that while there are many Jamourans in the Spires whose wisdom far surpassed his own, he didn't believe that Grash would find his answers at home. He believed that the only place for him was the University of Zeltiva.
Grash was nearly an adult now, just two years until he would turn 200. So Grash's parents gave Garal permission to take him to Zeltiva. But once they left, Garal told them that they weren't going straight there. Garal took him to many different cities across Mizahar, showing him as much as he could before going to Zeltiva.LanguageFluent Language: Common Basic Language: Jamouran Grunts Poor Language: Nari SkillsSkill | EXP | Total | Proficiency | Land Navigation | 5 SP | 5 | Novice | Meditation | 25 SP | 25 | Novice | Wilderness Survival | 10 RB, 20 SP | 30 | Competent | LoresLore of History of The Spires Lore of Religion: Eyris Possessions1 Set of Clothing -Simple Shirt -Simple Pants -Simple Coat 1 Waterskin 1 Backpack which contains: -Comb (Wood) -Brush (Wood) -Soap -Razor -Balanced Rations (1 Week’s Worth) -1 eating knife -Flint & Steel -1 Politics Journal -1 Astronomy Journal -1 History Journal -1 Philosophy Journal 468 Gold Mizas Heirloom: Staff, Iron HousingLocation: Zeltiva House: University of Zeltiva LedgerPurchase | Cost | Total | Starting | +100 GM | 100 GM | House Cash In | +500 GM | 600 GM | University of Zeltiva | -120 GM | 480 GM | Purchased 4 Blank Books | -12 GM | 468 GM | Thread List |
