AV 514, Spring 2nd
Treating injuries was never the same for S'Essy. Not just because that every injury was different but because every patient was different as well. It was always interesting how patients deal with their pain... or with their medic. Somehow this work really showed some people true nature and S'Essy could see how some of their minds were working. And that was also a great way for her to learn how to deal with them. She always tried to be understanding towards them. Even if it was the most annoying person she had ever met. For her luck now it wasn't the case. She was treating a human girl who was with her mother. She just finished with them and said good bye as they were thanking her. The pleasent patient the more pleasent the healer be. "Eat a lot fish! Believe me it can help!" She added as they were stepping out from the door.
She was at the first floor, treating the badly injured ones. She also arrived early this morning. She just woke up earlier than usual. But she didn't mind to come here infact she was happy for her workplace. She found anything and anyone she wanted if needed. Probably another reason for her that she loved healing because it also involved something exciting. Not always of course. She waited a chime or two but no one really entered. No wonder it was early morning. She checked the floor though. She stepped out and looked around. And she saw a man who was carried by two other. It was serious. She didn't see what was with him because she quickly invited them to the room. "Here here! Lie down him here!" She was pointing at the bed. They did, the man was in great pain but he was still conscious at least. She saw a big wound at his stomach. Also her arm was bended.
"Okay help me lift his torso a bit, we have to get off his shirt." She said and she was also helping to make sure they were doing it the right way. She didn't want to cause more pain than he had already. "Careful, careful! Yes.." They raised him a bit and S'Essy took off the shirt. She could see the wound now. It looked really deep and serious. "Okay let him down." said that and she was pondering for a second.. "We have to go. Hang in there Roy!" said one of them but she didn't really pay attention to them. They left the Konti and Roy alone. S'Essy couldn't wait too much. She had to stop the bleeding and clean the wound. She carefully placed both of her hands on this wound closed her eyes and focused.
She felt as Rak'keli's power going through her. She was mending his wound, the bleeding stopped. Also it didn't look as bad as before. The chance for a dangerous threat was eliminated. Also because of her gift, she knew he had bond. He was a drykas, he had a strider. She opened her eyes and pulled off her hands from the wound. Though it didn't look as bad, it was still not pretty and she had to treat it somehow. But she had time now and could do it peacefully. While she grabbed a clean rag to clean her hands she could talk with her. "Do you feel any better?" She asked kindly and smiled at him. "Somewhat..." he answered, but S'Essy saw that his face wasn't twitching because of the pain.
As she wiped her hands, she threw the rag to the desk and sat down to the drykas. She was checking for more injury if he had any. There was only one more, it wasn't as big and deep. It was little, she could close it. She placed her hand there and as she was healing it she was talking with him. "So what happened? Erm.. Roy right?" He was just staring at the ceiling like she wasn't there. "Well! Don't you see?" He said. He was irritated, but S'Essy was not sure if because of her or because he got wounded. She was still polite and tried to ask it differently. "Oh, sorry my poor word choosing! I am not that good at Common, but I try. How did that happen then?" She was also still smiling. If the medic was calm, the patient might be calmer too.
